The ScoutCast emerges from under the duvet, Lemsip soaked and coughing and spluttering its way towards a century of episodes. After a two-week break, the full crew are assembled as Granville joins me to celebrate his Gameweek victory, Professor Chris Atkinson returns from the slopes to charge up his “Rate My Team” computer and Jonty chips in with another community-powered “Full Jonty”.

Around this we discuss the unlikely scenario of selling on Robin, give our Scout League leaders a shout-out, analyse the transfer ins and outs in “All Aboard” and look ahead to the weekend’s programme.

The “Full Jonty” rounds things off as “Ginkapo” gets the treatment, prompting a love-in with a certain Serbian left-back.

        I'm keeping the cash to buy him back as I had 1.9 in the bank already, I have to, my ML rival is only 22 pts behind and he has him, my my concern this week now is that I have Studge and he has Suarez, although we both have Bale, Michu and Wally I have Mata and Sissko over is Punch and Marveaux although he has Berbs.

Would be happy selling RVP for 13.5 knowing that he'll likely be 13.7/8 on buying him back but Pog has thrown it all up in the air as have already shipped him for Lambert.
I have Sturridge so dont fancy a switch to Suarez and the lack of big hitting options outside him doesnt seem to justify a -4 for a couple of weeks.
So grin and bear the RVP blanks or does someone have a better suggestion?

walcott dropped at -24K transfers yesterday. RVP has his target set at -24K. shouldnt RVPs target be something more than 24K since he is flagged resulting in him not dropping tonight

    yes that is protection in terms of NTI not building up for a certain number of days after flag is removed. but i am pretty sure that once a player is flagged his threshold is adjusted. based on that RVP should have a higher threshhold than 24K. i remember fellaini and bale being -60K when they got their bans

    I think Pearce may return? What other alternative is there for him? Wilson perhaps?
    
    For RVP, I would have to get him straight back in a couple of weeks, is that not counter-productive? I'd be inclined to keep him for that reason, the only viable alternative is Aguero who hasn't got a game next week himself.

guys, rvp NTO set at 24K but since he is flagged it should be 36K and he has dropped 30K. is it safe to assume that he will not drop tonight.. that would be awesome news if correct

    yeah but doesnt make sense. 24K is the normal thershold for a well owned player. for ex theo fell last night at -24K. RVP is -124% based on a NTO of -24K but based on a NTO of -36K hes somewhere in in -90%s

      price rises and drops work differently...it's more like 10% NTO for the first drop rather than a fixed amount of sales

  It seems a little strange to me. When we have so many players due a blank and a lot of people have money tied up in RVP, you would think there would be other prime candidates for the chop. I suppose people just don't want to miss out on being able to field a full compliment of strikers each week.

    For me it's because all the players with a blank next week (Fellaini, Mata, Walcott, Maloney) are pretty good bets to play this week. RVP with a probable double blank makes him the most immediately expendable.

I refuse to get Lambert again this season. I had him for a decent chunk mid-season and got burned by rotation and poor form. A huge mistake getting rid though 🙁

My concern over RVP, apart from what appears a minor injury. Is if ManU beat Madrid to progress in the CL.and as the Prem looks increasingly won.
That RVP could easily be rested prior to any or all three of the CL fixtures in April as well as those before FA Cup games.
I'm not saying all by any means. But if the league is almost won the easier games would make sense to rest him if SAF is seriously going for the treble.

It's just a thought.
