The ScoutCast emerges from under the duvet, Lemsip soaked and coughing and spluttering its way towards a century of episodes. After a two-week break, the full crew are assembled as Granville joins me to celebrate his Gameweek victory, Professor Chris Atkinson returns from the slopes to charge up his “Rate My Team” computer and Jonty chips in with another community-powered “Full Jonty”.

Around this we discuss the unlikely scenario of selling on Robin, give our Scout League leaders a shout-out, analyse the transfer ins and outs in “All Aboard” and look ahead to the weekend’s programme.

The “Full Jonty” rounds things off as “Ginkapo” gets the treatment, prompting a love-in with a certain Serbian left-back.

Take the temperature of this latest episode via this link, or follow Doctors orders and stream your medicine via the player below…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

True. Just looking for a differential defender really. Would only play the odd game, and I remember Clark had pretty decent attacking returns early on in the season.

Any hope of him stepping up his game in the final stretch of the season?

Yep, Clark does have some offensive threat. Great fixtures too.

How about Caulker as a 5th def? After that West Ham game, surely AVB will give him some run. Amazing goal threat.

      Depends on the defender really.

Clark is an attacking defender so he will pick up the odd assist now and again. Hill is club captain but not really a goal threat so you would rely on cleanies to get your points.

QPR can't really park the bus anymore, we need to win games, so I don't know if we'll be keeping as many cleanies going forward. Of the 2 I'd choose Clark for his assist potential.

I know your pain. I bought in Girroud for Sturridge and Evans for Enrique with my 2 FT's last week.

If ever there was a complete waste of 2 FT's then that was it.

I would have been better off leaving both in and playing with what I had and keeping the 2 FT's for this week. Now I will need to get rid of Giroud for next week anyway.

I should have just got Lukaku like I was edging towards rather than trying to play it cute and think Ars were going to stuff Villa.

Time for a crazy 8 point hit-
    Nolan to Bale
    Suarez to Sturridge
    Cameron to Clyne

Risk is around Sturridge not playing and the cost - I could of course downtrade RVP instead of Suarez but I'd lose all option of getting him back in. Alternatively could bring in Bale for Mata (no hit). I'm just getting concerned that Bale's price is increasing so much, I might not be able to afford him if I wait until after these next two tougher fixtures.

    My team at the moment
    Bego
    Baines / Samba / GJohnson
    Michu / Bale / Walcott / Fellaini / Sissoko
    Suarez / Giroud

    What do you think?
A - Walcott out for Mata or Nani
B - Giroud out for Ba, Hernandez or Aguero
    C - Save Transfer

I'm not so sure you are giving them a big advantage actually.

Goodness knows how Chelsea will play after Rafa's outburst on Wednesday night and Utd will probably be rotated like crazy.

Plus the fact that next week people will be taking points hits like mad to get those same players out of their teams or risk playing only half a side.

Mind you - I could have had a bit more luck with my hits. Was 50/50 between jevans and Rafeal this week and went for jevans -4. Had I gone for Rafeal I would have been laughing (instead of crying). Seems like you need allot of luck for the hit to pay off straight away because we normally look at a players average over a few games for his return?

Someone with your rank has clearly bought players at the right time (fair play) so I guess it's obvious you won't have taken as many hits. That's why my q is a bit flawed.

I guess the guy at the top of the rankings each season will take fewer hits because the fact he's doing so well probably means he got fewer injuries and good players at the start of good runs.

Of course the players who didn't take many hits probably got the right players earlier meaning fewer hits required, so it is never going to be easy to show a causal link.

Anyone in the same boat as me and hoping that all the games that could be cancelled are and that RVP doesn't play for the next 2xGWs?

I only have 4 players that will miss a game and if RVP is not in the starting line-up versus Norwich and has a blank I'll sell him before the deadline, save a transfer next GW, have a full starting 11 in GW29 and then have 2xFT to bring in a couple of players in preparation for the upcoming DGWs

No fun. In similar boat. Waiting to see if there is any news about United match (ie, whether it will be rescheduled in GW29). If not, probably RVP and Anichebe (Pog for you) to Suarez and Lambert this week, followed by Walcott and Fellaini to Sissoko and, say, Snodgrass. Save wildcard for DGWs.

Well I def wouldn't go Caulker then if you need returns

It would be Wilson for me unless Cuellar retains his spot this week

        I agree for 2 reasons.

        1) I think his performances give AVB no reason to drop him
        2) I think Gallas will play mostly in cup matches

I even think he may opt to drop Vertonghen the odd game to give BAE a start rather that Caulker. I think he has found his new CB pairing for the rest of the season in Dawson+Caulker if they want a shot at CL spot.

If he starts again this weekend he's the #1 candidate for the spot atm

Definitely a good choice imo. When he starts, he's a bargain. If he doesn't you will probably get a sub on. Most people's 4.5 defenders rot on the bench all season.

Of course there is the possibility of a blank game week meaning you want more reliable starters across the board but I think the upside negates this.

looks like the much fancied frontline of RVP-Aguero-Sturridge has been a massive fail. ditching Suarez for Sturridge for that extra bit of value and getting the out of form Aguero was always gonna haunt. hope Aguero returns some points this gw for his owners to feel a bit better.

Yes I do think sturridge has outperformed suarez in terms of points and promise, especially if you think of the extra funds to be utilised elsewhere int he squad. As for promise, he was by far the most attacking player in every game he's played for liverpool, and is very, very direct.
