After possibly the most staggering day of Premier League football ever witnessed, today has a lot to live up to. But, being billed as the headline act of the weekend, this afternoon’s match-up at Stamford Bridge certainly has the potential to do so. Contrasting fortunes see West Ham without Matthew Upson and Jonathan Spector after they were unable to shake off knocks, whereas Roger Johnson, Barry Ferguson and Cameron Jerome all passed late fitness tests to make the starting line-up for Birmingham.

West Ham XI: Green, Jacobsen, Reid, Tomkins, Bridge, O’Neil, Parker, Noble, Obinna, Keane, Piquionne

Birmingham XI: Foster, Carr, Johnson, Jiranek, Ridgewell, Bentley, Bowyer, Ferguson, Gardner, Jerome, Zigic

Then, at 4pm, a game that had little interest or significance just over a week ago.     wonder what the chelsea back 4 will be when alex is back?

    they'll have alex, terry, ivanovic, bosingwa, luiz, cole to choose from.

    dont think bosingwa will be guaranteed a place

    should be , ive 6 also, but will change VDV with etherington(depending on no international injuries). so thats 7, at the moment can have 11 players in the following GW.
    but should have 2 free transfers also then (if i only use 1 this week).
