Having failed to produce any attacking returns in his last three appearances, and with no league fixture on his agenda this weekend, Juan Mata is being sacrificed by significant numbers of Fantasy managers in an attempt to address the conundrum that is Gameweek 29. The Spaniard has been sold on by over 46,000 Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers, more than any other player so far but with three home games in four following directly on from his blank (WHM, sou, SUN, TOT), the potential for points is just around the corner. In this latest article for members, we take a look at his recent displays to ascertain whether there is any reason behind his current malaise.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

How many points do you think R Martin will get in GW29, GW31 and GW32?

    SOT wig SWA

    I'd guess around 8. Fair?

Yeah, I'd give it a range of 5-10 within which you will find the number 8 so I'd say that's fair enough.

That would mean one assist, whereas he has only one all season.
More probable - a goal. I'd say either 6 or around 12 (depending on the bonus for the game with the predicted goal).

that's a very distinct possibility, but there's a good chance he'll get either a goal or a cleanie! 4-5 minimum I'd say but probably more.

Trying to convince myself not to do Onuoha > R Martin and save the transfer but if he'll get me 5 or more points extra, that would be worth it!

Plug it into the RMT machine and see what it spits out. It doesn't get the players scores right but fairly good with dealing with averages.

Already done it and it was positive.

Might mean an extra hit for a DGWer but I reckon I will get more than 4 points extra doing this move so there's a good chance it's worth using!

          Thanks all

I like the concept of Kagawa being aggressive and dismissive of Ferguson and the team. The section after the hattrick was a good example of that.

But yeah, the fake japanese accent is too much.

He should do it without the crappy racist accent. The themes are good, but the accent ruins in.

The best one was the Lucas Lieva one...just written in plain English...no rubbish fake Portuguese and was very funny. His tales of the team were superb, from Gerrard having a ring tone saying "Gerrraaaaarrrddd Scooorreeess", his rivalry with Kuy for the affections of Rafa, to the giant stallion that was Kyriagos.

Lucas was a very funny one but I find something funny not so much in the actual accent but the way the sentences are but together. As I said, all stereotyped but I don't believe it's in an extremely malicious way.

Looks good. I have Sissoko in now, I need to ship Fellaini to make it happen. I may monitor Kebe's injury, he can play this week and then can be benched very easily

      Theo, Bale, Michu, Siss

      Suarez, Sturridge, Rooney

I'd take Maloney for his GW31 fixture, but he doesn't play this week, same with Sidwell.

    Good afternoon, good gentlemen.

I was discussing the merits of a Michu and Fletcher > Maloney and RVP move last night.

Is anyone else considering getting rid of Michu?

Yeah, I mean I don't have Michu but I can definitely see why it'd appeal. There's a lot of good options in midfield, most of which will have a DGW in the fairly near future.

Exactly, I just don't like his fixtures too much, and a DGW for Maloney would be nice. Also, I'm getting RVP back in, which is the main reason for the move.

    A:
    Mata, Michu, Bale, Wally (Puncheon)
    RVP, Suarez, Kone

    or

    B:
    Mata, Michu, Bale, Wally, Sissoko

Taken a couple of hits but planning ahead, what do you think of this:

    Bunn

    Clyne Wilson Taylor S Enrique

Michu Bale Marveaux (probs wont play)

    Suarez Sturridge

Subs: Bego Evans Lampard Walcott RVP

    any good?

I'd be tempted to downgrade Evans as he appears perhaps not quite as nailed on as once thought, and upgrade Marveaux to Sissoko as he's the new OOP with form and fixtures to back up his cheap cost.

    a) Get Kebe (if fit) this week for -4 nad get 10 out but have to play Siss (mci) or Turner (wig) GW31

    b) get Maloney next week for -4 and bench him GW30, so that I can play him GW31
