We’re down to just 64 teams in Paddy Power Members Cup, as Gameweek 28 saw another round of managers fall by the wayside.

Former winner “Fuzzy Dunlop” remains in the mix, edging his way through to the fourth round with a narrow 75-72 victory over “Stills”. The community juggernaut that is “Evs” also rolls on – ranked 14th in the world, he disposed of his third round opponent, “ff addict” by a convincing 81-66 scoreline. As for the contributors, Paul remains in the hat, cruising to a 64-52 victory over “Schnitzengrubens”.

With a decimated Gameweek 29 providing the next round of matches, we could see some upsets next time around. The draw for the fourth round will be published tomorrow afternoon.

    So pre/early season, the two transfers that excited me the most (Not counting RVP who I figured would be good even if he stayed at Arsenal) from a fantasy perspective were Lukaku and Adam Johnson getting freed from the bench. Am I just being nostalgic/silly to get Adam Johnson this week over Sissoko/Sess?

      Sess has the better goal threat and runs at defenders more imo. But AJ is a decent pick. But he's not showing a huge amount of form.

          We had a decent attacking game against Fulham, but that was expected as Fulham are pretty poor away from home. Bit more positive signs after that match especially from Sess and AJ was getting in a lot of crosses/creating chances. But we've been pretty poor of late going forward in general. I don't have a whole lot of hope for us apart from in the favourable fixtures.

                Yeah, and I looked at his average position and shots in the box. His average position is almost the same, though a bit towards the right now. And he's getting 3 or 4 shots from inside the box, something which Sissoko lacks.

      Not at all. MON says he's still settling in, and from a fantasy football point of view his returns should only improve with Sunderland playing two up top. Only cause for concern is if Sunderland can truly be an attacking team and whether he'll assist the assister.

      You may also want to take a look at his Opta Stats for the past 4 games. I think he hasn't had even one shot on goal from inside the box, so we're only looking at assist returns at the moment. Isn't he left footed and playing on the left wing? If so, makes it difficult to cut inside and have a shot.

      Actually I think Benteke is a good shout for the armband this week.

      Villa are capable of putting a few past Reading. Could see that game being a high scoring affair whichever way the result goes.

      Both teams desperately need the win so I think they'll both go for it and, lets face it, neither team is really very good at defending are they!

        I think all 3 will have a good gameweek this weekend.

        Long term though I like Benteke and Remy. Lulu is a rotation risk.

            Lukaku has a tough matchup against Swansea. Both Benteke and Remy look like they will score this weekend.

      Lukaku and benteke look good prospects but for double Swansea defence and Harte as well.

      If in doubt go for the home keeper.

      Saints don't score much on the road and Norwich are tight at home usually. If there's going to be a cleanie out of those 2 keepers than I think it will come from Bunn.

      Don't think defs are worth a hit this week so I'd get Snods if you want one of them for a hit.

        only cost 4pts to field this 11, with Rooney and Mata on the bench. Worked out alright for me this week hopefully. As snake has hinted, i'll reconsider it again before the matches kickoff.

        Hard to predict how the Lfc v Spurs match will go. I think not captaining either Bale or Suarez but having both could help me.

                Captaining Bale before just ends in expletives and nightmares, and I don't fancy Lfc to put more than 1 or 2 at most past Spurs, so I will have to look elsewhere.

                Sess Lukaku or Sissoko it will be. I just know I will miss the right choice and have scrambled face!!!

      Agree with everyone else, Aguero is a complete waste of space and money, even at sub 11.

      I had Suarez Rooney and Aguero last week, and 2/3's of that...well....:)

      We have awful fixtures as well, and the title is over. Don't bother.
