We’re down to just 64 teams in Paddy Power Members Cup, as Gameweek 28 saw another round of managers fall by the wayside.

Former winner “Fuzzy Dunlop” remains in the mix, edging his way through to the fourth round with a narrow 75-72 victory over “Stills”. The community juggernaut that is “Evs” also rolls on – ranked 14th in the world, he disposed of his third round opponent, “ff addict” by a convincing 81-66 scoreline. As for the contributors, Paul remains in the hat, cruising to a 64-52 victory over “Schnitzengrubens”.

With a decimated Gameweek 29 providing the next round of matches, we could see some upsets next time around. The draw for the fourth round will be published tomorrow afternoon.

32/10. Where you getting them odds? Should be tighter than that with the form they're in. If it wasn't the Reds might shtick a tenner on them.

So irritated i missed giroud price drop again yest, total fpl didnt show him as dropping:(

    anyways..

    bunn (ddg)
    harte cueller davies (onouha baines)
    michu bale maloney (fellaini wally)
    sturridge giroud (rvp)

    1) need to get rid of either onouha or baines...baines frees up money and onouha is deadwood...
    2) bringing in sissoko but not sure who to get rid of between maloney and fellaini
    3) going to sturridge >> suarez in gw30 but for THIS gw, should i bring in lukaku or benteke

      1) Baines > Enrique
      2) Fellaini > Sissoko
      3) Benteke (fixture and form)

I'd of thought to bring in Benteke for one week you should be confident about captaining him to make it worth a hit.

Only joking. Most irish beer is watery tack. Was in the States for 2 years before Christmas. Some of the craft beers were majic and strong! Love the IPAs, great stuff.

Leaning towards Suarez over Bale, as Spurs has to deal with Europa (vs Inter Milan, Bale has to run again 🙂 )

Spurs tend not to concede many goals. If they do, its usually no more than 1 as depicted by their form this year.

I have 10 starters and 1FT which I'm thinking of saving this week. Any thoughts on this? I believe it would be better to invest in good DGWers rather than an average GW29 player.

    Bunn

    Enrique, Harte, Clyne, Martin
    Bale(c), Michu, Sissoko
    Sturridge, Lambert

    (Begovic, RVP, Lampard, Walcott, Zab)

    1FT, 3.1m

Would be better if the DGW was straight after GW29 and not with possibility of Euro , Internationals, Cup plus PL games in between where players can get injured, suspended etc.

I'm curious by benteke. But it would seem foolish to sell RVP for him. It would be equally foolish to sell players that already have a fixture in GW29 such as Lambert and Sturridge.

I can't stand Marmite, personally, but I guess if you grow up with one or the other you'll naturally have a preference.

Not a fan of Peanut Butter, but Nutella is heavenly 😀

I love Vegemite, but it is a bit of an acquired taste.

          nice

pretty good. The Sounders lost 1-0 in Mexico (which is a tricky place to travel to) to a technically superior team in the CL so not bad. hoping to get tickets to the return leg next week.

Speaking of curries, it is only a specific type of Mughlai dish. There are sooooo many other dishes in India, each state having their own specialities, and all of it is heavenly.

Best one week punt for a striker this week?

    B) enteke
    Lu) kaku
    La) mbert
    R) emy
    C) isse

If you are going to choose C), recommend a midfielder to buy instead of Sissoko.

Cisse is a doubt, isn't he? (illness)

Any of the other 4 is a good one week punt. If pushed, I'd go Lukaku.

On paper, it seems to be Benteke. Though I think Reading will win this one, will need to turn their form again and it's a crucial game for them. I'm not really tempted with Remy yet, the stats aren't that good for me to consider. Leaves us with Lukaku, Lambert and Cisse. Lambert has a very high ownership, don't know if he should be considered a punt. And out of Lukaku and Cisse, I'd go Lukaku.

25 points out of first in the US for UCL...don't think I'll be able to close the gap with the number of differentials shrinking. I wish the site would have been functioning properly during the first week.
