    Liking AVB these days. I think the Chelsea job is a poisoned chalice and you could see the whole thing getting to him last season. He do well at Spurs long term.

      yeah starting to look like a good manager. i say starting in that anyone can do well once, and i was starting to think he was a bit of a chancer after chelsea and his inauspicious start at spurs. looks like i was wrong.

      In hindsight it was the wrong job at the wrong time. If you're going to task a manager with overhauling an aging squad, you don't give the job to someone who's younger than some of those players and who never played at the top level.

        I was impressed with him at Porto and what he achieved I just think he didn't come across well at Chelsea. It's understandable given the task he was given and the resistance he was getting at the time though.

      Do you think Ade should get so many starts?

      Particularly away with 4-3-3 they really punished teams earlier in the season with Bale-De foe-Lennon up front amazing speed and skill on the break.

        I don't like Ade at all. Too lazy and doesn't offer the team much. Maybe occupying defenders for Bale to do his thing but for the lone striker he really isn't much good.

            Been there. My daughter will be 3 in a few weeks. Just enjoy the peace or even get a bit of sleep before he wakes again. Consider the dreamfeed thing. Give him a full feed while he sleeps. You'd thin , like I did , that it sounds a mad idea but he will sleep longer.

      If AVB retains this squad & adds a top striker Spurs could be a real threat next season. Should get decent striker if in UCL, they look defensively strong, solid midfield with combination of pace power and creativity and the whole team has goals within it.

      Dembele, Vert & Dempsey quality acquisitions whilst more to come from Siggy & Holtby.

      Big season for them this year but really think they should push on next year!

      PS Hope LFC smash them on Sunday 🙂

        Probably the two million. I hate playing the value game, and having an extra two million I would be able to have some wiggle room, and not make stupid transfers chasing values. (Like losing Mata at the beginning of the season)

        Any question which includes the phrase 'for the rest of the season' is misguided. Particularly when it comes to mid/low priced players, you'll most likely have to shuffle them around at some point to account for form/fixtures.
