A trio of Newcastle players register some impressive attacking statistics as we sift through the data from the Gameweek gone by. Romelu Lukaku’s consistent goal threat earns the West Brom forward a place in the top 10 of our ICT rankings, while we take a look at some stand-out stats from midfield in our latest article for members. Our members can examine all the numbers from the weekend action via our tables, charts and maps but, as always, we’ve handpicked the numbers that have grabbed our attention across the six fixtures played out.
I heard that Everton vs. QPR had a chance of being canceled GW33. That is not going to happen now due to the exodus of Everton in the FA cup correct? Therefore, Everton will for sure have a DGW?
Open ControlsTempted to do Begovic to DDG
Stoke are at that point in the season where they know they are safe and thinking ahead to their summer hols.Open ControlsSame here - thinking about doing the switch this week to take advantage of what looks like a comfortable CS against Reading...

I find it bemusing how the general mindset shifts on here sometimes. I think if you're going to forego objectivity you should at least be proud and admit to your blatant biases. I've been open about my love for certain players this year but at least am willing to admit that it is sometimes purely a massively subjective bias towards a player.
Anyway, it doesn't seem too long ago that it was spouted like gospel that Sturridge was undoubtedly going to match Suarez's output by playing up front and that the value was too hard to resist.
But now that Rooney over RVP is suggested some people are having a hard time stomaching it. Maybe it's the pain of a value over expensive option failing once already.
But Sturridge is nowhere near Rooney, he's a guy who was sitting on the bench all season and being criticised for being selfish half the time. Then he joins Liverpool, does a few things and people are thinking he's the second coming of Christ at circa 7m.
But Rooney plays for a better team and has so much more than Sturridge, set pieces and proven quality to name two things.
His PPG is over a whole season, Sturridge's is over 5/6 games and he's been brittle because he's barely played football all season. Rooney however has been consistently justifying his price tag when playing this season. He has so much in his locker. Have people forgotten how much of a beast Rooney is in FPL?
And at 7% ownership, you've got yourself aOpen Controlsa great alternative to the two big strikers*
Open ControlsI think this one is from the guest publication "Lamposts Monthly"
"And at 7% ownership, you’ve got yourself a hell of a lampost with a long, long lifespan."Open Controls😆
Open Controls
You write off Sturridge because he's been brittle, yet go on to say "Rooney blah blah blah when playing"...?
Open Controlsyeah but Rooney's injuries have been unlucky, gashed thigh and something mysterious over Xmas I can't remember...then sinus flu. They're not like constant hamstring/metatarsal injuries, he's generally been fine just unlucky.
Sturridge however is clearly suffering from lack of match fitness and rustiness. Rooney has been 100% many times this season and showed his class consistently without stealing the limelight because RVP has also been consistent.Open Controlsand the other thing is a lot of people bought Sturridge when he was flagged with an injury and claimed it was an international 'injury' but it wasn't. So they suffered a bit from that as it wasn't taken seriously. But Rooney isn't flagged or lacking fitness imo.
Open ControlsRooney is constantly in and out, not just because of injuries but somethings must be up with Fergie. I'd be much more confident of RVP (I'm assuming that's who you're picking Rooney over) starting more league games than Rooney.
It sounds to me like you've sold RVP and can't get him back, so now you're gonna do some extended posts on why everyone should buy Rooney 🙂Open Controlsnope, you got me wrong there. I can easily afford RVP back with one transfer. Look at my team and you can see how.
It's a matter of what kind of players could give you an advantage at this late stage in the season and I'm seeing Rooney as one that stands out. I don't think it's quite as scary as people are making it out. Rooney is pretty get man utd coverage in any game as long as he's starting, which I believe he will be and I'm not buying the media furor.
As I said, I've made some calls this season with value over the obvious pick which have worked out and I don't regret it. So I'm approaching this in the same way. And the way it looks to me is there aint much between RVP and Rooney.Open Controlspretty great*
Open ControlsDo you need to worry about value though? There are so many cheap strikers and even midfielders in Sissoko/Fellaini that are doing the business most weeks and most teams have built up 110M+
If you can afford RVP why are you worried about the 'value over the obvious pick' ?Open Controlsbecause I think Rooney allows you flexibility too in other areas, there are things I simply cannot do with RVP back in for instance, so it's more restrictive, whereas Rooney gives you the freedom of the city. I could even go for 4 heavy hitters in midfield, might be worth it for the DGWs as an example.
Open Controls
You are so in love with Rooney.. Aren't you 🙂
Open Controls^this
Open Controls
I'll stick with RVP - regardless of the value Rooney offers by comparison, the simple fact is going into any GW without RVP would cause me far greater anxiety than going into the same GW sans Rooney...
Right now the only reason i would pick Rooney over RVP would be if i couldn't afford RVP...Open Controls
Already having Suarez and - *ahem* - Coutinho, should I lose Aguero or Sturridge for Rooney?
Aguero is looking a lot like deadweight but he does have a DGW.Open ControlsLose Aguero. Utd also have DGW and are capable of scoring more in a single GW than most teams can in a DGW anyway.

Are you looking at FISO? It stalled last week. Something about servers. Use totalFPL instead:
development.totalfpl.com/pricechangesOpen Controlsi am looking at totafpl.. shows that they have NTI but their percentages are on 0
Open Controls
Mata and Remy also.
Open Controlsif you turn off the "chat" section, it's quite good
Open Controls
REPOST: Lambert likely to fall tonight? Couldn't calculate the rate of fall in TotalFPL site..
Open Controlsprobably tomorrow but looks like 0.3 fall by sat
Open ControlsWhy repost? You got a perfectly good answer on the last page...
And no btw.Open ControlsFair enough 🙂
Open Controls
yes he is falling.

Who would you bench from:
DDG (Bunn)
Jevans Enrique Samba Davies Harte
Mata Bale Michu Walcott Sissoko
Rooney Suarez Benteke?!!Open ControlsI am thinking about Davies -> JEvans/Evra this week do you think it is worth it with this team?
Mignolet
Dawson Wilson Davies
Bale Mata Michu Walcott
Sturridge RVP Suarez
Subs; Bunn, Puncheon, Harte, Clyne
Is it a waste of a transfer? Should I keep?
Or maybe get DDG in?Open Controlsdavies needs to go. evans good shout. or sagna?
Open Controls
Probably a no-brainer but...Snodgrass (sun) or Lambert (LIV) ?
Open ControlsI figure this is what most will say..although I guess with Snodgrass' away returns over the season it might be closer than expected..plus Liverpool > Sunderland.
Open Controls
lambert
Open ControlsVery very tough. If Norwich scores any sooner i think snodgrass will play part
I will start LambertOpen ControlsProblem is they just aren't scoring
Thanks people, Lambert staysOpen Controls
5% - Robin van Persie's conversion rate in his past nine games (all comps), compared to 27% in the 28 games before that.
Open Controlsis that worth 14m?
Open Controls13.7*
Haha, you're so unbelievably biased sometimes, when it comes to players.Open Controlsbut is it worth 14m? 🙂
Open Controls
Depends which Rvp plays at the weekend.
Seriously though Rvp and Rooney are both top players and there are plenty of arguments for both but really you could pick either and lady luck is the main factor that will decide how you get on.Open Controls
I need to sell one of those two to make funds for RvP. Who to sell???
A - Michu
B - BentekeOpen ControlsGuys my GW33 defence doesnt look great. How does Clichy to Enrique sound?
Then later maybe something like Davies to Sagna?
Also should I be worried about Lambert?Open ControlsGo to about half way down the page, where it gives you Chelsea's regular starting lineup this season, and see who has apparently been a regular for them in CM 😯

Open Controls
so is that FA and PL meeting over? what was the outcome.
Open ControlsThey've identified that they definitely need to utilise synergy going forward. They're going to get all their ducks in a row and leverage the core brand message.

Team this week..... 1FT wih 0.7m in the bank..... I was going to save the transfer?? Right subs in that case??Open ControlsIn that case yes, Bench is good.
Open ControlsThanks just think I might regret not have more united attack, but can't really see a way of fitting it in with out a hit. Was thinking of maybe a big balls punt on Kagawa for Michu...
Open ControlsWould be brave but those kinda choices can really pay off.
Open Controls
I can see Reading bringing a bus to Old Trafford and parking it.
Open ControlsI can see Utd scoring 4 goals.
Open Controls
Guys, will Dawson keeps his place ahead of Gallas & Caulker after conceding 3 goals yesterday.. How did he play?
Open Controlsfine, wasn't his fault for the goals
Open ControlsI didnt have one of his best games thats for sure.
Open ControlsThanks 🙂
Open Controls
My refusal to ship RVP for Suarez these last 3 weeks will finally pay dividends this weekend.
Open Controlsgood luck!
link to your team?Open ControlsYou think RVP will score more this weekend than Suarez did in the last three weeks? 😯
Open Controls
Bego
Dawson Zaba Turner

RVP (c) Suarez Benteke
Andersen Sissoko Davies Pearce
No need to use the 1ft right? Save it to for next week. Subs in order?Open ControlsOops * -to
Open ControlsLooks good, save it!
I've got Sissy and Michu in my team and don't know which will to play.... I was airing on the side of Sissoko. What's your thoughts?Open ControlsAsked people that same question earlier today. Michu's home. Sisso's away. On the other hand, i think Wigan is the easier opponent. Then again Michu scored a brace against Ars last time round 😀
So... Who knows. I'll probably change it a few times... And end up with...?Open Controls
How safe is Carra's spot?
Open Controlsso are we bunn owners going to get burned when Ruddy regains fitness? I find it hard to see how a keeper could lose his place while keeping Clean sheets like he has.
I don't mind especially if Ruddy comes back in as it will just mean Bego for the rest of the season, but it'd be nice to have Bunn as an option as Norwich's fixtures are kind. A double up on Norwich is not out of the question either.Open ControlsBunn's done well. I'd think he'd continue. But as you say, you've got Bego if he doesn't.
Open Controls
are there really talking towels out there
i find it hard to believeOpen Controls5 hits?? I like a hit but even I wouldn't take 5 hits, even for a mega-DGW.
