One hundred up. Some achievement for two miserable so-and-soโ€™s, confined in a room or hours on end, griping and gloating about Fantasy football.

I darenโ€™t calculate the hours spent gazing into the beardy face of my Mancunian counterpart, or the minutes wasted while he moans about points on the bench. Equally, I doubt heโ€™s recalling the hours heโ€™s listened to me talk about Aleks Kolarov, Victor Moses or how my latest points hit will steer me to glory. Instead, weโ€™ll look back fondly and remember the many, many good times.

Tonightโ€™s special podcast includes a clip from the very first pilot show, Granvilleโ€™s first, and some would say, last, attempt at ScoutCast humour. Thatโ€™s followed by a flood of reminiscing, as Granville pinpoints some of his favourite episodes, while I see through my fixation with beating Last of the Summer Wine by checking out how they celebrated their own century of episodes, with depressingly predictable results.

Of course the regulars play their part, including the Professor and his Rate My Team computer and another stellar showing from the โ€œFull Jontyโ€, this week featuring one of our very top managers in the community. Depressing stuff for a host just coming off the back of a red arrow.

Like Granville says, however, this is a time for celebrating. Hereโ€™s to the 100 and the next century to come.

Raise a glass to the turn of the century via this link, or stream the party spirit via the player below.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

This guy is rarely mentioned when they talk about great footballers. Saw him play in San Siro in '03. Not only a great player but one of the toughest men I've seen on a football pitch.

wow, the Juve and Lazio legend. yep, world class footballer. his main problem is that he's playing in the same team with Zidane, so you don;t hear much about him. plus you can't win tournaments with Republic Czech.

i know, the team has exceptionale talents but lacks cutting edge. That Ballon d'Or is definitely a worthy recognition, and more, more justified that Michael Owen's. ๐Ÿ˜›

I'm in a discussion on You Tube with someone about how Bergkamp was way better than Henry and how he did it in the big games while Henry almost never did.

Simple. Henry is a goalscoring machine, Bergkamp is the textbook footballer with a football brain. Play them together and what do you get? a team of Invincibles.

About Henry disappearing in big games (Arsenal's UCL Final against Barca comes to mind), yeah you can say that on several occasions. But it's down for him being French, anyway. You know they're talented but their heads are very hard to control.

Can I get an endorsement on this transfer:

    Fellaini -> Lampard

surely he’ll pick up a yellow soon, leaves enough to go Michu -> Walcott next week.

    front is:

    Maloney, Sissoko, Michu, Bale, Fellaini

    RVP, Suarez, Rickie

    Can I get an AMEN?

I've been listening to a lot of City and Colour lately. Have you heard songs from them/him? I've been desperately practicing my fingerstyle and want to play some of those songs for a certain young lady. Guaranteed his songs will make most women melt!!

Oh you play guitar? Cool, how long you been playing? I've played since I was about 13, oh and yeah, playing guitar definitely gets you attention from girls ๐Ÿ™‚

Never heard of city and colour I don't think...

ha, that's an even longer period than I've been playing then, I'm 25 ๐Ÿ™‚

never tried mandolin, might be hard to get used to...lefty, eh? awesome...although proves difficult when you wanna just pick up any old guitar ๐Ÿ™

best way to get your fingerstyle right is just pure practice, it aint gonna magically work after all ๐Ÿ˜‰

I can play guitar chords upside down on a right handed guitar too, practiced that since I was about 9 on my brothers guitar, so can pick up and play a right-handed one, it's just trickier. It was years later that I actually started learning and playing properly, but that practice gave me a head start. Left-handed guitars are more expensive though.

Haha yeah, practice makes perfect! I play in the dark too, so I don't get too caught up in looking at the strings. I can easily use my thumb and first two fingets, but the ring and pinkie finger don't want to do what they're supposed to!! What guitars do you have? I have 2 Fenders; a Jagstang and a Tele.

wow, you learnt the upside down trick? genius ๐Ÿ˜‰

why are they more expensive? Just because they're not mass produced I'm guessing?

I've got a tanglewood acoustic and a Fender stratocaster, I'd like to get a tele though because I prefer them.

I've not actually looked into why, but I'm assuming that it is because they are not mass-produced. It kind of sucks really, as every music shop I go into, they very rarely have a left-handed model, so I can't feel comfortable playing one, and what's the point if I'm not going to buy it?

I was looking online at a Tanglewood acoustic a few months back, online. I really want an acoustic guitar, as nowadays I rarely ever plug my guitars in. Guess I've mellowed out as I have gotten older haha!! Gone are the days where distortion is used for almost everything!

    Current team:

    Bego (Jussi)
    Rafael Samba Debuchy (Davies Harte)
    Mata Bale Walcott Michu (Sissoko)
    RVP Sturridge Lambert

1 FT, 1.2 in the bank

Have been toying with getting Suarez in for a hit but I'm thinking maybe I'd be better off sticking with what I've got and use the money to beef up for the DGWs

    So options are:
    1. Do nothing
    2. Sturridge or Lambert + Michu -> Suarez + Maloney (-4)
    3. Michu -> Hazard or Lampard (followed by whichever one I get in -> Cazorla next week)
    4. Something else?

Night Chris, just to let you know, I really recommend Tanglewoods...I've had mine for years now and it's been a joy, I love the feel and everything about it.

It cost me 700 euro I think but well worth the investment. Oh and I'm the same as you...I've mellowed a bit on the distortion... ๐Ÿ˜€

I used to like tormenting neighbours/parents with my amp up to eleven (this one went up to eleven ๐Ÿ˜‰ )

But yeah, gotta love playing guitar, I don't know what I'd do without my tanglewood... it's a part of me now ๐Ÿ™‚ Night man, nice Deadzone DJing tonight ๐Ÿ˜‰
