With the ScoutCast survey results still resonating, we make minor tweaks to the trusted formula and still manage to clock up our longest episode yet. To be honest, with a double Gameweek looming and “Balegate” to pick through, this one could have run and run, particularly once I’d got “Significant Touch” by Phil Collins trapped in my head.

There’s plenty of discussion, another cameo from the Professor and his suffering Fantasy fortunes, the weekend preview and another Full Jonty which, this week, focuses on one Fantasy managers mysterious message from the “other side”. An event that inspires Jonty to go on the hunt for superstitious Fantasy managers.

    So basically is a hit warranted to get rid of rvp for two decent double gameweekers, I am thinking so atm

      A hit to get rid of RVP prob won't work out too well imo. Aguero and Defoe are not even nailed on to start both games. Kone -4 vs RVP doesn't see worth the trouble imo. Bunn -> Robles?

      tough decision. hart & kone would be great additions to your team, but i'm not sure getting rid of RVP is the best thing to do. i'd say leave it, or try to get hart from other sources, like downgrading JE perhaps.

    Do people think Haz and Mata will both start both games of the DGW? Seems to be that Benitez will likely start them both with others rotating around them - would want to try and get points at Man U and obviously needs points vs Tott.

    Already have Mata, thinking of doubling up. I think Hazard is more secure than any City midfielder (in terms of playing both games), apart from maybe Toure...the beast.

        Yeah, the plan was always to keep Fellaini and ship Theo and Benteke, but I couldn't get rid of either. Still not sure who to pick between Sagna and Davies -- neither inspire confidence so I am tempted to take a hit if I can find someone worthy.

          If I had Sagna I would play him personally. I have Davies too and I think I will play Enrique over him. It may not work out but I just have so little confidence in Davies nor am I sure he will play both games.

          I got in Aguero, Vert and Hazard so I'm excited about the DGW...got Fellaini, Rafael and Rooney out for them.

          8 pt hit altogether.

          I saw Jarvis is my last bracketologist 😉 If only you had started one week later I think my Sturridge pick would have been genius...never expected Jarvis to come this far!

    Hi guys chasing a 30 pt gap against my main rival ... our teams look like this at the mo

    rival: (-8 pts)

    Foster (DDG) ( i assume he will bench ddg not sure though)

    my team ( 1 FT , 1.8 in the bank )

    What to do ?
    1)Do i need to think about a differential captain with chasing 30 points ( actually 22 at the moment due to his 8 pt hit ) ....
    2) Do i need to think about going lambert to defoe /tevez and benching caz/benteke?
    3) Any other suggestions ?

    At the mo thinking of just doing one transfer bassong to vertongen or cazz to hazard .....

      Well, it's easier to decipher if you know much he had in bank before the transfer.

      Raido has probably done RvP to Aguero.

        I know he had 104.2 before tonight so Aguero was my guess as well. As he has Caz going down and Bale + the guy coming in rising. I just dont know at what price he got RVP.
        Just thought maybe some smart nerds around here would have found out some way to make sure.

          Depends on your risk tolerance. Yaya most likely to play 180 but less likely to score big. If I wasn't planning to get Aguero in I'd go Nasri, myself, but I like a bit of risk

        Cheers US Gunner. Was thinking him, chasing his record and good form v Michu's form not so great. Was only concerned if Frank isn't nailed-on and played 90 mins tonight but gonnaget him. Also considered Luiz but can't see Chelsea keeping two CS and prob not even one.

          yep, michu's 2ppg is a safe bet but he's playing upfonrt and definite starter. lamps has gametime issue, but might be worth it because of the peno duties & CHE still chasing Europa. you decide, but michu's 45% ownership may swing it for me.

            Michu's high ownership is based on people having him for a long time, were considering getting rid, he scored 2 in 2 a few weeks ago so they're keeping him for this DGW. 5/16 isn't great form and Swansea have been poor since League Cup Final.

        Europa Final is a few weeks away so that shouldn't have a bearing on Frank's gametime.Will Oscar play both do you think? He's in form but only seems to start 2 of 3 games so probably not starting next game. Could go for Hazard if Oscar's not nailed-on. I know it's hard to predict who's nailed-on for Rafa sides !

          My own logic sais the defensive inability will keep lamps out against united 100%. Will possibly play vs ToT. Opposing opinion on Oscar- will play vs United. Im not sure if he will vs TOT

        Most people seem to have Mata.
        I guess he seems like the sensible pick considering he was benched last night, and only came on for 15 at the end.

        I guess both players are equally just as likley to miss some game time, and both can score as much as the other.
        Still a tough choice I think. 🙁

      Even if Hazard's only is a slight injury doubt, it's what's make me choose Mata in front of him. Tomorrow is not far away and there's a risk Benitez won't take the chance to field hazard in front of the important and tight schedule.

      I'd be worried of Spurs bad CS record. Hence the 2 x 2points you get from Dawson will only cancel out his hit price.
      But if you think they can keep a CS against the Saints then go for it, as Davies 'may' get benched for Taylor.

    Here's a stat you probably know about. Hazard's 9 PL goals so far, 1 goal in each of these games: Newcastle (A) 2-0, Norwich (H) 4-1, West Brom (A) 1-2, Villa (H) 8-0, Stoke (A) 4-0, Southampton (H) 2-2, Wigan (H) 4-1, West Ham (H) 2-0, Liverpool (A) 2-2.
    None of these, bar Liverpool (of course !) would I consider to be to be top opposition. Some were games where Chelsea were just coasting to results. No goals v United, City, Arsenal or Spurs. He did get 2 assists v Spurs. Not too many assists against top class opposition either. Sure you can slant the figures to look how you like I suppose.

    But Mata has scored goals against Arsenal home and away, Spurs and Man Utd. He's also made assists against them. I have Mata already but for me he's a better choice than Hazard in big games and United and Spurs are big games anyway but even bigger when they're still in the hunt for a CL spot.
