To be honest, with a double Gameweek looming and “Balegate” to pick through, this one could have run and run, particularly once I’d got “Significant Touch” by Phil Collins trapped in my head.

There’s plenty of discussion, another cameo from the Professor and his suffering Fantasy fortunes, the weekend preview and another Full Jonty which, this week, focuses on one Fantasy managers mysterious message from the “other side”.         You sound very confident about these predictions but really I think you are just trying to compensate for what you are lacking...which is a Chelsea mid.
        
        I don't mean that in an offensive way. You may well turn out right that he isn't worth a hit...BUT
        
        a) he is hardly bang out of form
        b) he has performed in the tougher fixtures before
        c) he will play a lot more than 110 minutes believe me. He wasn't rested for 75 minutes today to be rested once again in crucial league games.
        
        In conclusion, whilst you have every right to be skeptical about his worthiness this week, your argument against him is hardly convincing me as it sounds like more wishful thinking if anything.

        1) Cash
        2) I only need a defender for GW37. This means if I keep him this week I'll have to sell him in GW38 as I won't bench him, so by selling now i save myself a transfer as Sagna is benchable

  19 year old Lukaku's form is better and Mata has been playing ball almost continuously since Ausgust 2011. Lukaku for me and I have both.

    I have Lukaku, and was dumb enough to bench him last week. But I don't think they'll see much of the ball against City, so he'll have to get what he can against Wigan...for the most part.

  But, would go Mata. Even if it's a small injury Hazard was taken off for yesterday, it's just hours before the first of 3 important games for Chelsea in a few days. So there is a chance that Hazard won't be risked in the first match, and Mata seems ready for 180 mins.

    Hey El Tano.. sold him last week for a hit ( 🙁 ) along with fellaini to get mata and tevez in.. not really a loss though as i was gonna do it this week anyway for the same hit. Sold him as i dont think he's gonna get many minutes over the next 3 and manu not playin that well atm.. i'd rather players from teams with something to play for. 111 team value is crazy? 11 High priced DGWers and 4 players with gr8 fixtures last 2 would be ideal(Sturridge, Baines etc..) anyway gotta go now.. later tano

  It really depends on your situation.....if you are chasing then go for it. If you are protecting a lead then perhaps it's worth playing a bit safer

    I'm never sure about this logic. The nice thing about holding a lead (if it's a decent lead of 30-40 say) is to fiercely defend a double game week by getting in all the obvious candidates. It limits your losses to 4 points per player rather than a far large amount if they happen to explode.
    
    If it's a tight lead though, the above doesn't apply so much.

      It's a double edged sword though isn't it..... If the players you take a hit for fail and the players you sell (RVP & Afro prime candidates here) score well then you could soon see your ML lead cut.......could go the other way though of course.
      
      My basic theory is play safe if leading (I.e limit hits where possible)

  For my money I'm liking the look of Nasri. Found his form in time for the doubles and hasn't had that many minutes this season so burnout is not an issue (not saying Mancini won't rest him though)
