Villa’s failure to keep Sunderland out and Marouane Fellaini’s awful open goal gaff left us out of pocket from last week’s flutter. Christian Benteke did the business for us but Sunderland’s consolation in the 6-1 mauling on Monday night robbed us of profit from our 11/2 shot.

With double Gameweek assets stealing the limelight this weekend, let’s see if we can’t have more luck with the latest round of weekend markets from Paddy Power.

We start things off with a player with just a single fixture in the Gameweek. Theo Walcott is the only such player in our Scout Picks this week and, having scored against United on Sunday, the Gunners flyer will surely face the relegated R’s as Arsenal’s big goal threat. Paddy certainly fancy him to deliver, offering 7/2 on a Theo Walcott goal coupled with an Arsenal clean sheet against QPR. We’ll gladly get behind this, placing the first £3 of our stake on Theo to come good.

Romelu Lukaku comes into the Gameweek off the back of a double point haul in the Baggies’ 3-0 rout of Southampton; not surprisingly, the Belgian has found plenty of backers for his two fixtures in the Gameweek as a result. The home clash with Wigan this weekend is his big opportunity to earn profit, with the midweek trip to the Etihad presenting a far stiffer task for Lukaku and Steve Clarke’s men. Paddy have a Lukaku goal with a West Brom clean sheet against Wigan at 13/2. While we’re not ruling out a goal or two for the visitors, we’ll place a tentative £2 on this one.

Gareth Bale is as “essential” as they come as a double Gameweek asset. He’ll surely sport the armband for the majority this weekend, facing former club Southampton having scored 10 goals in his last 10 league starts. Paddy seem pretty convinced that his run of strikes will continue, offering 3/1 on a Bale goal with a Tottenham clean sheet against the Saints. With Mauricio Pochettino’s side still recovering from the shock home defeat to the Baggies and without the inspiration of Gaston Ramirez through suspension, were happy placing £4 of our stake on this one.

A Spurs clean sheet also features in our treble bet this week, with Paddy dangling 10/1 on a Tottenham shutout together with goals for Sergio Aguero against Swansea and Walcott at QPR. With just a shiny pound coin remaining, we’ll toss it Paddy’s way on this one.

Register and Bet £10 And Get £20 Free

If you’re new to Paddy Power, then you can take up any of these odds and get yourself a bonus. You can sign up via this site and get a free £20 when you register an account and bet a tenner.

Finally of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

been reading up on a few previews and doesnt seem like b.jones and davies are going to play more then 1 game 🙁

Thinking of clark >> dawson (-4). but then between davies and jones, who would you bench?

For every preview saying Davies won't play another says he will.

      http://www.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/Blog/index.php/2013/05/03/opposition-view-swansea-city-2/

Davies has been in and out of the West Brom team so more rotation risk than Davies but neither are nailed-on for 2 in the DGW. Reid will keep BJ out cos he's a better more experienced player.

already took a -8 to bring mata nasri and martin, and now have no money in bank..my current team is:
    Bunn (DDG)
    Enrique Zab Martin (Wilson Harte)
    Bale Mata Michu Nasri (Marv)
    RVP Benteke Tevez

Option 1 :If I get rid of RVP and get a DGW striker, then I have Tevez Benteke and Lukaku/Kone. That also allows me to get Vert/Dawson/Kompany/Hart and improve my defence

Option 2: If I get rid of RVP, then I can get Maloney for Marv and have a 5 man midfield and a dgw striker +Tevez, However that means benching Beneteke.

Option 3, Stick with the current lineup?

So it looks like you consider taking a hit to play maybe Dawson over Demel (NEW)? That's not the best move.

Wow, difficult one that. Is Gibbs back in favour? Think that might help you make the call anyway.

Front 8 is Michu, Maloney, Mata, Bale, Silva, Tevez, Lukaku & RVP. Who to bench?

Considering RVP is your SGW'er, that seems like the obvious choice. Not having SIlva would have reduced your headaches

Nastasic, if Mancini allows him to start both games.

Do you lads think its worth a 4 point hit to get in Boyce for Demel? Will he make it up with the two games he has?

    Thanks

Wigan have problems at the back. Keep Demel (assist potential on the cards, if no clean sheet).
