This week’s ScoutCast episode reminds us that there really is life outside of Fantasy Football.

Like the pursuit of the “most consecutive hours spent in one building” for instance, or perhaps the “most impressive eating feat”. Both are key events, alongside Fantasy Premier League ranking, in an annual set of “Bloke Olympics” revealed courtesy of this week’s rather different “Full Jonty”. Our friend in the community brings an extraordinary tale of a top Fantasy manager who runs his life like an achievement list – not to be missed.

Around that, we find time to pop in on an off-colour Professor, welcome Mr Moyes to Old Trafford and discuss the options presented by the Michu fallout.

Take your place amongst the medals via this link or polish your Olympic rings via the handy player below…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Taken a hit already currently to get this, but im worried about lack of bench. Should i be, or just go with it??

    DDG
    Evra, Zab, Demel
    Couthino, Lamps, Bale, Wally
    RVP, Tevez, Lukaku

    Bunn, Schneiderlin, Harte, Wilson.

      defense: 7/10
      midfield: 10/10
attack: 5/10 (Tevez and Lukakukukaku could both be benched)

Thats what worries me.. then theres nothing decent to back up from my bench, Schneiderlin is a doubt, the other 2 won't play.

But Tevez was just rested against Swansea, wasn't he? Shouldn't he get a run of 3-4 games now that the season's almost over?

Tevez's rest was because of the back to back games (DGW). Similarly, now with two games in 4 days, if he plays a good number of mins in the FA cup final, hes likely to be rested int he following gw.

See, since the league game comes after the final, I don't see why Tevez would be rested. If the FA cup final was Wednesday then I could see it, but as it is, I'd say Tevez plays both final and the remaining two league games. Mancini wants to ensure 2nd place, there'd be no sense in resting one of your best strikers... other than for fear of injury before a final. But because of the timing I don't see it happening...

Why does he everyone think Lukaku will b benched for this game? He has played 60+ in all but 2 of wbrom's last 10 games (one of which was against chelsea and he couldnt have played)...

Just curious because I am set to sell kone ahead of lukaku for sturridge...

    My team is:

    Begovic

    Dawson, Mertesacker, Demel
    Bale, Fellaini, Carzorla, Mata,
    Lambert, Kone, Tevez

    Jaas, Michu*, Cameron, Marriapa

    Do I:

    A) Tevez & Michu => RVP & Henderson (4 point hit)
    B) Michu => Walcott and not play Kone/Lambert

    DDG
    Demel Mertesacker McAuley
    Bale Mata Nasri Coutinho
    Benteke Berbatov Tevez
    Subs
    Beg Michu ShawX Harte

1 ft and 0.1 in bank.

a)Michu to Ramsey (stats are impressive over last 4) Nice differential
b)Michu to Fellaini (stats also impressive and unlucky not to score)
c)Michu to Rosicky (differential and potential to explode)
d)Michu to Santi and Berbs to Ruiz/Anichebe (-4)
e)Michu to Santi and Tevez to Sturridge (-4)
f)No transfer (bench Michu and keep 2 for final week)

Worried about Tevez, Nasri and Mata rotation.
Also think Wigan are screwed at the back so Arsenal could run riot. Don't want Walcott....need a differential.

I have both Mata and Hazard (see below) and I'm worried that both won't start. Chelsea can drop points and still control their CL destiny, and with the big guns set to play in the Europa final, there may be less urgency for Rafa in selecting his squad.
With 5.0 in the bank, have you considered bringing in Bale for Michu? You'll have more of a workable bench.
I'm not convinced about Turner... playing against one of your stikers. You can afford to upgrade. I'd suggest Luiz, but you're full of Chelsea players. but maybe Dawson...

Current Team was built for GW36. Served me well, but now I'm left wondering where to go for this week. I'm 3 points behind in my ML.

    Hart
    JE, O'Brien, Vert
    Mata, Fellaini, Walcott, Bale
    Tevez, Kone, Aguero
    Subs: Fabianski, Wilson, Davies, Hazard
    0.3 in the bank.

I'll do Tevez/Aguero to Sturridge. But I'm torn as to what else.
    A: Don't take any hits
    B: Davies-> Luiz/GJ/?? I don't want to play O'Brien...
    C: Haz->??

He'll score 1 at least. Arsenal's defence is not unbeatatble. If Wigan don't score a few they're finished. But if I were Martinez I'd drop Kone, start McManaman and play McCarthy behind him. McManaman seems more likely to get a goal than Kone. I've seen McCarthy play off the striker for Ireland and he's well able for it. A very under-rated player outside of Wigan Athtletic and ROI.

Looks the worst bet but really needs to chip in to dig Wgan out of the relegation hole they're in. City will hardly be caught by Chelsea. West Brom have already broken their best points tally for PL so maybe they have something to prove by trying to get more points.

He needed to 'chip in' at home to Swansea but he didn't.

    Hi guys!

Need your advice on my team:

    DDG
    Vertonghen Baines Luiz
    Bale Walcott(c) Mata Coutinho
    Aguero Tevez Lukaku

Subs: Robles Sagna, Maloney, Harte. 0FT and £1.2 mil in the bank.

    a) Should I play Sagna instead of Vertonghen?

    b) I am tempted to bring Sturridge for a hit for either Tevez or Aguero, is it a good idea in your opinion?

the problem with bringing sturridge in for a hit is you could lose the wrong city striker as I reckon at least one of aguero/tevez should start the reading game and could get a big score.

I'd bench sagna of those options

coutinho is enough for this week imo. bring sturridge in next week perhaps.

that's a tough one. maloney plays arsenal so it's kinda up to whether you think maloney will score/assist or not. how do you see the game going?

Yes, will bring Studge in next week probably. I could see Wigan scoring 1 goal and that's it. Probably will come from McManaman or Kone imo.

well if wigan score 1 then maloney and sagna would both be on 2pts. if you see wigan scoring, start maloney, if you see them being held scoreless then start sagna

Worth a hit to do "Defoe ->> Sturridge"?

    Begovic (Robles)
Zabaleta - Luiz - Vertonghen - "Enrique" (Pearce)
Bale - Walcott - Fellaini - Mata (Townsend)
    RvP - Tevez - "Defoe"

A: Take hit. Play Sturridge and bench Enrique.
B: No hit. Choose to play either Defoe (stk) or Enrique (ful) or Townsend (NEW).

If it's with Cabaye scoring and picking up 3 BP I'll be happy. Was looking at all other mids and he's the nailed on mid with a goal chance in a must-win game. Ben Arfa still not 100% after injury, it seems, and his form's not been great. I like Cabaye anyways, gives his all. Which is more than can be said for most of his colleagues lately.

time to write an essay in the dead zone 🙂

    ddg (bunn)
    baines jones davies (clark harte)
    bale wally maloney mata (michu)
    berbs augero tevez

Problem: Am leading my ML by 22 points but rival did michu + lukaku >> any mid upto 6.5 + rvp 🙁

    A: michu + augero >> townsend + rvp (-4)
    - augero might not play 3 days after fa cup, but michu might be fit for gw38 and essentially i only have 2 defenders but it hedges his rvp move..will then bench maloney but mata is unlikely to play also

    B: baines + augero >> sagna + rvp (-4)
    - hedges his rvp move but if mata doesnt play..i will only have 3 mids with one of them being maloney against arsenal away plus baines has a good fixture

    C: berbs + augero >> anichebe + rvp (-4)
    - i have too many non playing/rotation players in my team so not comfortable taking out berbs

    D: mata + augero >> coutinho + rvp (-4)
    - mata unlikely to play this gw before europa league so only loose out on him for chelsea's last game against everton which shouldnt be too easy.

E: ignore his rvp move and hope he doesnt start/or that augero starts/ or that my wally (c) outshines rvp (c)..in this case i will do clark + michu >> sagna + coutinho (-4)

All help appreciated, really confused between options A, D and E sigh

Like this, number of transfers they have made in the current gw is bottom right. But it won't show who they have transferred of course, that would be highly unethical.
