        He never stopped stopped running but yeah he wasn't quick for a wide player. His game developed to suit his passing ability though. If he was bombing up and down the flank he would never have the same composure to execute the range of passing he was so good at.

  I think that having so many parallel storylines has been a bit of a structural problem this season - I keep ending each episode with a sense that not very much has happened. I wonder if dwelling a bit longer on one set of characters in each episode would have been a bit more satisfactory?

    I feel exactly the same...also, some of the story lines aren't quite as interesting as others. I wish there was more of Deneris and less of the little Stark boy, for example. The plot moves very slowly indeed.

In all honesty, is David Beckham not the most overrated footballer of all time? Only for a few seasons was he really good, and his reputation had him down as one of the best players of his generation.

  Definitely not overrated. Yes he's always had the media circus around him but his technique and execution was pure class. Going to La Galaxy really killed off his career, but until then he was a very very special footballer.

    Even before going to Real Madrid he had a few completely average seasons, although to be fair to him he was good in his last year there. Played his part in them winning the league under Capello.
    
    Do you remember the hype had though? It's nothing compared to now, people named him as one of the best players in the world for years.

      Yes, I agree with u. He has been a very talented and special player over the years but still did not quite achieve what he should have. The media hype just make him to be more special than he actually is. On his day and for a lot of years though not as consistently he was the best.

        A lot of people are taking hits to get Coutinho in, even with Sturridge because Mata is only 50/50 to play. I wouldn't bother though.
        
        So yeah, maybe get in Coutinho, or Michu. 🙂
