There may only be one Premier League fixture tonight but it’s one of huge significance, both for our Fantasy Football fortunes and on the destination of the Premier League title. Manchester United are the visitors, and Chelsea are the hosts.

With Chelsea fifteen points adrift and having a turbulent season, it’s United who are looking to edge closer to that 19th Premier League trophy. More importantly of course, it’s United who are featuring in their second game of the gameweek, meaning most of us are loaded up with their players.

Chelsea XI: Cech, Ivanovic, David Luiz, Terry, Cole, Essien, Lampard, Ramires, Anelka, Torres, Malouda

Man United XI: Van der Sar, O’Shea, Smalling, Vidic, Evra, Fletcher, Carrick, Scholes, Nani, Hernandez, Rooney

Sir Alex has named his first unchanged team since May 2008 (thanks Shreevesy), meaning Dimitar Berbatov is once again left in favour of Mexican sensation Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez.

As for the Champions, and they also leave a big name striker on the bench in Didier Drogba, with Carlo Ancelotti clearly hoping Fernando Torres’ supposed hoodoo over Nemanja Vidic surfaces tonight.

          I think Ivanovic was also at fault because he was the one closest to Rooney at first and then backed off when Rooney turned inwards. I don't think he can back off unless someone else is there to take over the pressure.

    Another point, does anyone feel that Ashley Cole gets a ridiculously hard time all things considered?

    He's one of the best players England have had in this current generation and one of the few players i can think of that consistently turns up and puts the effort it. I know he's done some silly things but nothing compared to loads of other footballers - and you can't question his commitment on the pitch - unlike alot of other footballers.

      On the pitch he's fine, regularly England's best player (though that is more indicative of pretty much everyone else playing shit).
      Off the pitch he is a bit of a tosser. That lotto ad, all the crap about him screaming down the phone at Arsenal because he was 'only' offered £55k, etc etc etc.
      To be fair it appears the vast majority of football players are tossers these days though.

        I just think when you compare that to people like Carroll, Rooney, Gerrard, Terry etc. they're all as bad if not worse. Seems the amount of stick Cole gets is completely disproportionate to what he has done (that has nothing to do with football) - speaking about football he is more of a professonial than most.

      Yeah was interested to see him tonight, he's entertaining to watch but now I've realized he can defend.

      He's stepping out of the defensive line too much though and will get caught out against the top teams.

    Lol at Chelsea's "perfectly good goal being disallowed" nonsense.

    Whether there was an infringement or not, the fact the ref blew the whistle and the United players stopped playing, putting it in the back of the net means absolutely nothing.

    Evra was on the line, and once the whistle blew he started to jog away.

      I thought about getting Rooney for Odem, but would've been an extra 4 points (on top of the 4 I'd already taken) and would've gotten Barton instead of Young. So, guess I can't complain.
