There may only be one Premier League fixture tonight but it’s one of huge significance, both for our Fantasy Football fortunes and on the destination of the Premier League title. Manchester United are the visitors, and Chelsea are the hosts.

With Chelsea fifteen points adrift and having a turbulent season, it’s United who are looking to edge closer to that 19th Premier League trophy. More importantly of course, it’s United who are featuring in their second game of the gameweek, meaning most of us are loaded up with their players.

Chelsea XI: Cech, Ivanovic, David Luiz, Terry, Cole, Essien, Lampard, Ramires, Anelka, Torres, Malouda

Man United XI: Van der Sar, O’Shea, Smalling, Vidic, Evra, Fletcher, Carrick, Scholes, Nani, Hernandez, Rooney

Sir Alex has named his first unchanged team since May 2008 (thanks Shreevesy), meaning Dimitar Berbatov is once again left in favour of Mexican sensation Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez.

As for the Champions, and they also leave a big name striker on the bench in Didier Drogba, with Carlo Ancelotti clearly hoping Fernando Torres’ supposed hoodoo over Nemanja Vidic surfaces tonight.

    Please have a look at my team and recommend whether i should use my wildcard or still wait. Am more or less happy. Could easily manage with a 4 pt hit this week.

      Same dilemma, Beckford has to play, with no Cahill and Felaini they are struggling and he is in a bit of goalscoring form.

          Probably, 42 is the safety score atm. Shouldn't be a problem. Quite a few in trouble though.

    A couple of years ago FPL gave points to a player who didnt play and i was knocked out the cup, They later corrected the points but not the cup loss. I would piss myself if they didn't update the autosubs. Would serve all the people who leave players on the bench to be "clever" right.

      hehe, I don't give a sh*t. As with Katie, This season is taking everything out of me.The last 8 gameweeks are going to be a major pain.

      If autosubs don't kick in then I'm joining Katie in FPL "heaven".

    Maybe FPL are busy having a meeting regarding the changing of the rules.

    Everyone that put Young/Rooney/Tevez & co on the bench, knowing that autosubs will kick in, will not get the points from the bench.

          I hate when people get points from the bench from people they had no intention of playing. Nani last week is a perfect example. If the rules were changed then everyone would play properly.

            I'd love it if they got rid of auto captain rule - and for similar reasons auto sub rule really only benefits the causal player more, so I wouldn't be sorry to see the back of that either

            or if the rules were changed, the definition of proper play would be different.

            personally, i don't follow what's so cool or exciting about tricking someone into believing that you had a worse week than you did, but it doesn't bother me either.

      Thought about that today. You couldn't do half points etc. I was thinking that only a player in the same position could only replace a player i.e. defender for defender unless you play 5 at the back. Obviously it gets alittle tricky if you play 3 strikers or 5 mids & one misses out.

    FPL trainees have said theres a software glitch and unfortunately the auto subs wont work this gameweek.

    Depending on injuries etc, I'm probably going to do DJ > Zigic for my freebie this GW. I'm also considering Barton > Arteta for a 4 point hit. Do you guys think thats worth the punt? I already have Coleman and Bentley for DGW coverage. Then plan on Arteta > Nasri the following GW all being well. How does that sound?
