I too am still lukewarm on Benteke. I have him! But will hold the next few weeks and monitor. Same goes for RVP.

I will say, Benteke has looked good. He looks like he's playing a different level, at times. I would suspect him to fare very well versus most of the table.

Looks like keeping and benching is the popular choice. But don't you all think sacrificing a striker spot for gw3 could be detrimental.

Could always buy him back for 0.1-0.2 more if you make profits on the strker you bring in for him.

You do have a soft spot for him 🙂

He looked great, that finish was pure class. However if I'm going to splash that cash up front I'd just find the other 3 million extra for Robin reliant.

I think Brady will get a bit more playing time. Brady was played on the left of the midfield and as the left forward in a 4-3-3, so potential OOP. I have Brady, and wasn't displeased with his performance.

True, but I still get his points. I had RVP last season but never captained him every week.

From gw 4 onwards he is captaincy candidate most of the gws.

Also got him from GW1 to avoid having to use WC or take multiple points hits to get him in for GW4.

Aware that 1st 3 fixtures potentially tricky but felt better to have him in from the start and anything he gives me is a bonus between GW 1-3.

The easy games are dotted around champions league games which increases rotation risk, providing rooney stays, they will also be weaker after cl so only likely to get 1/2 goals.

Brayford is playing City and may not even start, Ramage has Stoke away, so could be a decent option, but they'll probably concede anyway.

Nolan/HBA aren't worth ANOTHER. I'd risk it with KDB over Kim, simply because if he starts he's more likely to get an assist or goal than Kim against City. Even if he comes on later, cannot imagine Kim scoring more than 2. And if he doesn't come on, win win.

I'd just go for HBA now. Gerrard? Michu? Another option is Lampard (will prob rise) and tho he misses gw3 can see him being a regular for Jose, making him as close to essential as you can get
