He’s well travelled. He’s multi-lingual. He’s just 19 points behind me. Despite my best start to a Fantasy Football season in living memory, Granville is right on my tail. In this latest episode of the ScoutCast, Granville takes delight in taunting me by wrapping his tongue around every “Pochettino” with ease, leaving me to struggle like Paul Merson with a mouth ulcer.

In between the mispronunciations, myself and the “cosmopolitan Manc” get heated about Robin Van Persie, rinse through the Gameweek 1 bandwagons, preview the weekend’s action and welcome the flying start made by this season’s ScoutCast team. It’s breathless stuff, squeezed into a low fat 40 minutes.

      If it's a free transfer then I'd say Silva. I wouldn't recommend taking a hit to remove Hazard.

    I made my FT to remove Lukaku before the price drop.
    Now wondering whether to take a hit, amongst the plan to acquire RVP in GW4.

    Migs - (4m)
    Toure - Coleman - Chester - (Ivan - Kosc)
    Wally - Mirallas - Haz - Morrison - (Kim)
    Sturr - Dzeko - Bent

    Bank - 4m

    To get RVP I do:

    GW3
    Ivan -> 4m

    GW4
    Dzeko -> RVP

    OR

    Haz -> Silva -4

    GW3
    Ivan -> 4.5m

    GW4
    Dzeko -> RVP

    Which do like better, and any other thoughts appreciated.

      A imo due to it only being gw1 and not knowing how silva will perform regularly. This is coming from a silva owner.

      U have plenty of time anyways and something else will probably pop up along the way

        I fancied Silva from the start, just wasn't room in GW1.
        He will rise tomorrow and that will be that for me in terms of the RVP plan.

        Plus a 4.5m def beats the Cardiff 4m I would need to get, and that picture is unclear regarding Burner or Brayford. So I'm inclined to take the hit.

      I'd prefer losing Hazard for Snodgrass/Nolan and upgrading Anelka to a Sturridge/Soldado. I think the gap between Lambert and that group of guys in the 9 million range is huge. But he was as good as anyone last year I suppose.

      Elnine! Need some advice.

      Still think Lamps is the best chelsea cover? I either am going Hazard to Silva or Ivan>Coleman and Lamps>Silva for a hit.

      Great gameweek for you, by the way. Benteke doesn't care about fixtures! Lampard was a great call, and you sure were right about Lukaku.

        Hey buddy.....

        You have yourself to thank as you were probably the only one on here who listened to me about Lukaku and punt on Lamps.

        Lamps is the best FPL prospect from Chelsea methinks. Basically all set-pieces at 8.0 for a title winning team - bargain of the season! He may be benched the rare matches but I'd say Jose likes him too much to keep him away any game. Who is to say hazard won't be rested a few weeks. I certainly don't think Haz is worth 1.5 more than Lamps.

        I'm tempted to do Haz > Silva too but largely considering saving FT. Think 2FTs in GW3 will be like gold dust man as a few big guns will start clicking or we'll want to sort out the situation after the transfer window signings.

        For you esp since you have Dzeko already, I think you should consider saving FT too. Not convinced with the other move involving the hit.

      Navas is a great player but IMO he is a pure pure winger like lennon... His points depend on who is at the recption of his crosses.. If Dzeko is on fire Navas can have a lot of points.. If not... Then he can finish the match with 3pts...

      Or if you're asking for someone to rotate - west ham is the best rotation fixture wise, Sunderland's Westwood the cheapest.

    Ba is gone... Against Villa He was just being showcased for transfer. Pick him up with West Ham or other but not Chelsea.

    Torres ain't gonna cut it for Mo... Way too direct and skillless... You all know he lacks any really skill unless he's fed a ball on his foot.

    Fot Lukak, Tough game against a United squad that will want to defend and then a bye... But then he's golden.. Golden I tell you! Barring of course the acquisition of Rooney or Eto 🙂

      I find that the clean sheet betting odds (the previous article) are useful. They are paid to get things right, after all. Liverpool has better odds of a clea sheet than Norwich, but not as good as Southampton.

      I would take one of the stoke defenders over their fwds any day. Really don't fancy crouch and he didn't look that good in the first game either, even Walters is a better shout imo.

      You're probably better off getting the likes of Jrod, Weimann, Aspas instead.

      Not many are jumping on the Giroud bandwagon... but he is on pens if the Turkey game is any indication.
