Just a heads-up to everyone wanting to participate in the Fantasy Football Scout Cup who have not yet submitted their entry, that the deadline to do so is at 7pm this evening.

We’ve had a record number of entries so far and with Gameweek 29 scores so diverse, the qualifying mark is hard to predict. More on that once tonight’s deadline has passed.

Full details, including how to enter, can be found by clicking here.

Akers Richard or Akers, as he is known, has been regularly haunting this site since July 2008. He is young and foolish, take what he says with a pinch of salt. Follow them on Twitter

    Got lost on last page:

Anyone seen this Hilarious video on Facebook

The larger kid on the right, is my son’s friend Casey – thankfully they don’t go to the same school. Poor Casey has been bullied his whole high school life, and this is what happens when he snaps!! But guess who was suspended in this scenario – Casey!

I'm 17 pts clear in my main league, really want to get Lamps in...
Seriously thinking of getting rid of Nani this week and bringing in Lamps, but to do this i'll have to free up a wee bit of cash (Bardsley > Walker & 4pt hit)

Or wud Rooney to RVP and no hit make more sense this week & go for Lapms next week?

I have 3 Utd players, Tevez & 2 Newc players.. GW 33 is freaking me out, when are the fixtures gonna be rescheduled?

Yeah, I did. But that was ages ago and on the back of some high scoring European games, which were quite refreshing given how dull the majority of group stage games are.

My opinion on them has changed a helluva lot since then though.

Fair enough, haven't seen a much of them in a while, but if they just sat deep and soaked up pressure I think they could cause a lot of problems for many teams.

something that I noticed recently as well. Was pretty evident in milan the way they were going and I also mentioned then how they looked like a rich mans stoke. I suppose it's mainly because of the injuries to bale and Vdv and lack of dependent options upfront(defoe and pavly hasn't really done much) has forced them a bit more to simply rely on crouch and with players like sandro, pienaar and kranjcar coming and filling in without having plyd much with the team itself doesn't help the team play.

The second leg against Meelan was an extreme case, and understandable given the situation of the tie. But it's not too far from how they always play.

Not always! Recently, yes. I was actually talking about the first leg(haven't seen much of them recently but that game really stood out from the other that I have watched). And I watched them agiasnt inter at the meazza and they weren't nearly negative enough. As I said i think its just a phase because of a few reasons and they should be back to their attacking best soon.

Id be lying if I said I hadnt considered it....especially wit the double upcoming.

But then I remember the golden rule: never buy defensive midfielders. This rule is actually multiplied by the fact that Song is out for a while, meaning Wilshere will have more defensive duties.

    Djourou > Walker
    Zigic > Suarez

How does this sound? Should I do both and suffer a 4 point hit?
Bit unsure to do both, because I'm in a h2h league, and this week I'm playing 'average', which knowing my luck I will lose to. My mate lost to the average last week, but he did make a 12 point hit! He would've won otherwise.

          nope it really isn't

Before anyone asks about Southampton's Egil Ostenstad, he was thought to have scored a treble against United in 1996, but the committee ruled that one of the goals be credited as an own goal to Denis Irwin.

Is that from Wiki? Someone was saying that the official PL data still has it down as a hat-trick.

David Bentley, they beat us 4-3, mix up between Ferdinand and VDS allowed him in, if I remember right. Think it was his first game since signing permanently from Arsenal.
