Injuries

Charlie Adam is heading into Blackpool’s trip to Fulham on Saturday as an injury doubt following his outing for Scotland in the 2-0 defeat to Brazil.

The Blackpool skipper sustained a knee injury in conceding the penalty for Brazil’s second goal in the Emirates clash, having struggled to make an impression throughout.

A disappointed Adam seems confident that the setback will not keep him out of the weekend Craven Cottage visit…

“I just got a whack on it. We clashed knees but I’ll be all right and hopefully I’ll be ready for the weekend.”

Fantasy Managers need to show caution however; Adam is a highly sought after transfer target following his brace of goals and Fantasy Premier League (FPL) Bonus in the 2-2 draw at Blackburn last time out. The Scot is also closing in on a run of four consecutive home matches that will make him hot property with all active Fantasy Managers – Adam has so far attracted over 41,000 new owners in the FPL in this current gameweek.

While the injury appears to be a minor problem – impact injuries can cause complications, as recently highlighted by Robin Van Persie’s recent absence for Arsenal following a similar incident in the Carling Cup Final defeat to Birmingham.

Those contemplating investment will be wise to wait for an official update from the Bloomfield Road camp. We will of course bring you any updates as and when they arrive.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Im a native speaker of the language, so fuk off correcting me.

in the english language, its two different things , of course. But its like saying Jonathan Ross, and c*nt...they both mean the same thing.

agents publicise their players, in the hope of getting more money for them.

So i wrote publicist for a reason.

    You there RBJ?
Taken on board your points about Terry...not sure i agree that he's a rotation risk, even with CL. But he's getting old, so spose he is an injury risk.
Given that im going for Luiz already...would you prefer:
    A.Cole + Carr
    or
    Terry + R.Johnson?
Prob going to get rid of both after their doubles...
(dont want Cech as keeping Foster and will play him in GW33 i think)

dunno bout carr, but if you insist on two chelsea defenders, id say cole yeah.

rethink it a bit though- just cos everyone on here is getting two chelsea defenders, dont think you have to.

i have ivan right, i downgraded from cole a while back on my wildcardand its served me well. And i want Luiz too, but if i had none and had the option, id get luiz and leave it at that. I havent seen a whole lot to say chelsea are gonna keep getting loads of clean sheets. theres always loads of goals before the end of the season i always think too.

It's purely the fixtures for Chels that appeal.
Few home games + a double.
Can always get rid of Terry by GW35.
Just cant see anyone else that i want in defence instead of Terry
(assuming i downgrade tevez to gyan)
        hmmm...i'll have another think

85-year-old man reappeared at the doctor's office and gave him the jar, which was as clean and empty as on the previous day.
The doctor asked, what happened and the man explained.
"Well, doc, it's like this--first I tried with my right hand, but nothing. Then I tried with my left hand, but still nothing. Then I asked my wife for help. She tried with her right hand, then with her left, still nothing. She tried with her mouth, first with the teeth in, then with her teeth out, still nothing. We even called up Arleen, the lady next door and she tried too, first with both hands, then an armpit, and she even tried squeezin' it between her knees, but still nothing."
The doctor was shocked! "You asked your neighbor?"
The old man replied, "Yep, none of us could get the jar open."

    JOKE (Corporate Lesson 1)

A man is getting into the shower just as his wife is finishing up her shower when the doorbell rings. After a few seconds of arguing over which one should go and answer the doorbell, the wife gives up, quickly wraps her self up in a towel and runs downstairs. When she opens the door, there stands Bob, the next door neighbour.

Before she says a word, Bob says, "I'll give you £500 to drop that towel that you have on". After thinking for a moment, the woman drops her towel and stands naked in front of Bob. After a few seconds, Bob hands her £500 and leaves. Confused, but excited about her good fortune, the woman wraps back up in the towel and goes back upstairs.

When she gets back to the bathroom, her husband asks from the shower, "Who was that?" "It was Bob the next door neighbour," she replies. "Great!" the husband says, "Did he say anything about the £500 he owes me?"

    Moral of the story:

If you share critical information pertaining to credit and risk in time with your stakeholders, you may be in a position to prevent avoidable exposure.

KOL hillbilly jamsiep or anyone else who saw my post earlier about doing a maynard wincast this saturday

steven caulker the centre half we have had on loan from spurs (and who will go onto play for england soon imo) got injured for eng u21s the other night and is out for the season

this leaves us with two fit centrebacks who both arent very good

i might be switching from the wincast to just backing maynard anytime scorer for the rest of the season

    JOKE (corporate lesson 2)

A sales rep, an administration clerk and the manager are walking to lunch when they find an antique oil lamp. They rub it and a Genie comes out in a puff of smoke. The Genie says, "I usually only grant three wishes, so I'll give each of you just one."

"Me first! Me first!" says the admin clerk. "I want to be in the Bahamas, driving a speedboat, without a care in the world." Poof! She's gone.

In astonishment, "Me next! Me next!" says the sales rep. "I want to be in Hawaii, relaxing on the beach with my personal masseuse, an endless supply of Pena Coladas and the love of my life." Poof! He's gone.

"OK, you're up," the Genie says to the manager. The manager says, "I want those two back in the office after lunch."

Joe Hart will play in goal, we will have Gary Cahill and Phil Jagielka at centre-back and Leighton Baines will play at left-back," he stated.

"Barry will be the captain and Carroll will play up front. Scott Parker will play if he is fit but he has got a little problem. I will decide on Tuesday if he plays for 90 minutes or however long."

hes also sent home all players in the champs league.

similar to banks, people switch due to sheeet service and charges from one but get exactly the same with the others

I'm with o2 which I did jst to get pre release tickets, but a. they are crap tickets they give you, and b. I have no reception at my house, or at my work which is useful!!
p.s. I live and work in the centre of Oxford, so not exactly in the sticks!

Orange claim that now they've merged with T-mobile, they provide 99% network coverage in England, absolute rubbish, unless I'm unfortunate enough to be in the 1%. Phone companies are evil, apart from 3, I always hear good things about them.

3, I know their call centre may be in the middle of nowhere, but they do offer insanely good contracts, plus they use O2 masts as well so the signal should be solid.

I have heard many a good thing about Vodafone though, fantastic tax dodgers 🙂

Vodafone and Orange should match any genuine offer.

From my own friend and ex girfriends experience I would never get a 3 contract ever again. useless.

Thanks for your replies guys. I guess it's Simpson + one of Bentley/Carr/Ohara. I don't think I've played 433 once this season, looks pretty nice on my teamsheet 😛
