With leagues across the Fantasy Premier League (FPL), Sky Sports, Sun Dream Team and Champions League games there is plenty to catch up on this afternoon. We look at those who have excelled during Gameweek 6 and those who are a little richer after having a great week in our PlayON game.
Fantasy Premier League
Hemant Gosavi remains at the top of the Scout league after racking up 67 points last weekend. John Terry, Aaron Ramsey, Daniel Sturridge and captain Wayne Rooney all produced double figures for Hemant, who sits in tenth spot in the overall standings. Ed C climbs to second after a 71-point Gameweek – despite handing the armband to Mesut Ozil. He had Ramsey, Yaya Toure, Sturridge and Romelu Lukaku to thank as he moved to 72nd spot overall.
Third-placed David Wilson handed Luis Suarez the armband last weekend as his side registered a total of 79 points. Ramsey, Robbie Brady, Olivier Giroud and Roberto Soldado all chipped in with the points. Glenn Tyler is in fourth spot in the Scout league, with captain Rooney, Sturridge, Giroud and Terry joined by Ross Barkley and Peter Whittingham in producing the attacking returns, while Rory Stoneman rockets into the top five with a score of 91 points. He captained Sturridge and also had Barkley, Toure, Brady, Loic Remy and a couple of Southampton backline options amongst his starting XI. Wasana Busby is a non-mover at the top of the Fantasy Football Scout members league. Captain Rooney, Suarez, Barkley, Toure, Jose Fonte and Allan McGregor all helped produce a total of 69 points – Wasana sits on 409 points overall. Angga Haqqu climbs to second after a score of 83 points in Gameweek 6 – Suarez, Ramsey, Toure and Barkley were the main men here – whilst third spot goes to Ivan Heneghan, who had Sturridge and Southampton pair Rickie Lambert and Fonte amongst his key performers.
Sky Sports Fantasy Football
Roberto Losito climbs to top spot in our Sky Sports league. He is now in 59th place overall with a score of 486 points – just a couple of points ahead of second-placed Leo Reid, whilst Alan Davey completes the top three with an overall tally of 477 points. The Sun Dream Team
Lee Walpole continues to lead the way in our Sun league. His decision to load up on six Spurs and three Arsenal players is proving a wise tactic, with Leighton Baines and Robin Van Persie making up the XI. Lee sits on 456 points – 19 points ahead of Rhys Niyazi in second, who has seven of his 11 players plying their trade in north London. Geoff Pryor takes third position with 419 points; he’s opted for a more balanced side, with at least two players from Chelsea, Arsenal, City and Spurs. Ed Shardlow was the winner of PlayON’s exclusive Fantasy Football Scout £2 game. His decision to back Luis Suarez and Romelu Lukaku amongst others helped him collect £34.78, second-placed Thomas Clark earned himself £23.31 and Mick Wall, in third, took home £17.64.
Champions League
The rankings for the official Champions League game were updated after last night’s round of results. FC leads the way on 202 points – a frontline of Cristiano Ronaldo, Robert Lewandowski and Jackson Martinez all produced over the midweek matches to help FC into ninth spot overall. Diegocho33 is also on 202 points, despite taking a six-point hit – he had an identical front three for Matchday 2 – whilst Fisch sits just a couple of points behind and has climbed to 19th overall.
