Stop! Der Hammer Time(*).
As the dawn of another gameweek is upon it’s up to the Hammers and Manchester United to wake us up from our Internationally enforced slumber and the last minute tinkerers of the Saturday Surgery hand the reins over to the Dugout Discussion.
News from the Boleyn Ground is that the traveling side have decided to rest Edwin Van Der Sar with Thomas Kuszczak coming in while Nani (frustrating? Yes. But seeing as nigh on ‘everyone’ has him not quite so painful across the fantasy-sphere) takes a seat on the pine with Park filling his spot. Fabio also nabs the right-back berth, Vidic returns and Hernandez drops out for Gibson as Fergie favours the 451/433. The home team meanwhile see no need to change their side from that which drew at Spurs last gameweek. Teams in full are…
West Ham XI:Green; Jacobsen, Da Costa, Upson, Bridge; Parker, Hitzlsperger, Noble; O’Neil, Cole, Ba.
United XI: Kuszczak; Fabio, Smalling, Vidic, Evra; Gibson, Carrick, Giggs; Valencia, Rooney, Park.
After we’ve said our ta-ta’s to the aforementioned fixture we’ll head through the six three o’clock fixtures with Redknapp’s team of choice against Wigan of interest with Liverpool and Chelsea also visiting West Brom and Stoke respectively. Arsenal playing host to Blackburn -perhaps the most key fixture of the day- will close out Saturday for us with the evening kick-off.
The Dugout Discussion will be open through all this action up until the final whistle blows.
(*)dues finally paid as promised.
