      Nobody knows. It will depend on how the next few games go, but my instinct is that Gus will stick with Mannone now until he does something wrong. Our defence has been relatively solid last few games, and I don't think Poyet will interfere with that without cause.

      Neither of them is conspicuously better than the other, so getting either of them long-term (unless as a back-up) is a risk, IMO.

    My head says I should bring in hazard but heart wants to have a punt on Walcott and play him with ozil for the next four games Southampton (h) Cardiff (a) Hull (h) and Everton (h)

    I know these teams aren't particularly mugish especially - south/eve and that theo will only play 30-60 mins but it pays to get ahead of game ..... I also think hazard was lucky in the last gameweek and i don't trust Chelsea mids

    Made a simple little calculation based on the home/away comparison between these five players. I gave 5 points if the player had the top statistic, 1 if he had the lowest. Adding it together, it came out like this:

    Aguero 29
    Ozil 30
    Remy 35
    Rooney 22
    Suarez 39

    Not very scientific maybe, but a decent conclusion if you ask me. So... captain either Remy or Suarez. Do not captain Rooney.

        Remy for me, Norwich are terrible at times defensively, Conceded 14 in 5 away games. Everton conceded just 3 in 5 home games, As much as I have Suarez and think he's class Remy is getting the armband this weekend. Also slightly more of a differential in my m/l

    I'm liking the Captain Sensible articles 🙂

    Getting the right GW captain is huge in FPL, especially over the past three GWs when players like Suarez and Aguero get major hauls.

    It's certainly a tough one this GW12 though as there's a good 'for & against' case for many players as captain. It's a good opportunity to move up the overall rankings greatly though if you choose the right one this GW.

        I'm probably going for captaining Aguero.

        Man City's home goal scoring form has been excellent, and Aguero should get his usual chances despite Spurs having a decent defence.

        Also I couldn't bare to watch Super Sunday if I didn't captain him! 🙂

          But maybe it's too early for a captain punt... slow and steady I guess.

            Remy would be a good logical captain pick - he certainly has the form and the fixture.

            Though I'm sticking with the tried and tested big guns after my HBA (c) fail against Hull 🙁

    @ Demi and others.

    Which defender would you get:

    Mertesacker, McAuley or Evans? Could you please provide a justification. It's been really hard for me to pick one. I am torn between McAuley and Evans. I am ditching Baines for one of them.

              he's been injured, but he's also past it.

              Injuries have caught up with him.

              Evans is now first choice IMO, but that doesn't mean he's nailed on. However, with Jones injured he's good for this week.

              If it helps i'm getting McAuley over Evans this week. Evans is my planned replacement for Williams in a few weeks when Swansea's fixtures turn and I've had more chance to assess Evans' nailed-onness

              IMO part of the reason United have been so poor at the back has been the lack of a consistent back-four in front of DDG, I don't think the importance of this can be overstated, look at Everton and Saints, look at United in previous seasons. A GK and a back-four that play together every week build an understanding, that just can't be developed when things keep changing.

      Mertesacker for the next four, Evans thereafter. Play the fixtures and build funds for the January WC. Evans more likely to be rotated during ECL GW's and they fortuitously stop in four GW's 🙂

      I doubt Walcott will start this GW - he's been out for a while, also Arsenal been doing well without him.

      He may get a run out though if fit in final period of game. So I wouldn't say its worth a transfer, never mind a hit.

    My goalkeeper situation is looking ugly. I've got speroni (who has decent fixtures and could see pulls take over- defence minded) and boruc who's done me proud but has absolutely atrocious fixtures. I like the look of krul over the next few... Could a transfer out for one of my pair to the Dutchman for -4 be rewarding? Thanks for responses as ever 🙂

      Speroni to McGregor might be worth a hit

      But that leaves you exposed over coming weeks.

      Really you need both of them out!

        Thanks. Weird isn't it how a few weeks ago they were good options 🙂 could keep both and bring in coloccini for walker maybe? Decisions, decisions...

      Id love that pairing Palaces fixtures are nice and probably will improve defensively especially if Pulis takes over as you said. Im rolling with only Boruc 😀

    My team:

    Migs/4.0
    Terry/Ivan/Williams/Clyne/Cameron
    Ramsey/Coutinho/Brady/JWP/Barkley
    Agüero(C)/Suarez/Tekkers(VC)

    A) Coutinho -> Hazard
    B) Barkley -> Sess
    C) Tekkers -> Remy

    Which will bring me more points this GW? Must beat my rival in H2H league, can crush other guys easily in that league 🙂
