Our weekly regular for Members is rolled out again this evening, offering an in-depth statistical analysis of the main captaincy contenders for the Gameweek ahead. Strong home games for City and Everton look tempting, while Liverpool and Arsenal pay visit to a couple of the promoted clubs over the weekend:
Very few play EL.
Open Controls
Pick two from:
Sess
Cabaye
RavelOpen Controlscabaye ravel
Open ControlsCabaye has a goal or assist in every home game he has featured in this season which is why I went for him over sess
Open ControlsWest Brom having Norwich, Cardiff, Hull after the Man City game is delicious though
Open Controlsok I thought he was asking who to play this gw..
Open Controls
Hmmm, RMT has Ravel as first sub. Agreed on Cabaye though, definitely in my team this weekend.
Other two are Wally and Ramsey. One big risk there but playing Wally non the less.Open Controls
Do I have to pick two of them?
Sess and RavelOpen Controls
Need some help with the best way to bring in Aguero. please pick 1
1) Benteke and Nasri --> Aguero and Ravel -4
2) Benteke, Sessegnon and Dawson -> Aguero, Bacuna, Gabbidon -8Open ControlsI wouldn't do either but if it has to be done then 1
Open Controls1 if you must.
2 not only loses you 8 points but also makes your team look worse!Open Controls1 if you have to.
Do you remember last week when you said you needed Brunt to play? Did you actually own him? Did you get his assist?? 😯Open ControlsI'm confused. The team you have linked says you already have Aguero?
Open Controlsjust trying to help a friend as she has fallen way behind
Open Controls
How many assists did you Rooney get in a game with Leverkusen ?
I saw two in the first half and went to bed.Open ControlsAnother one for you... which combo scores more?
Ozil & Cabaye
Or
Oscar & Coutinho (-4)Open Controlshello dzers,
my team for this gw.
guzan
terry coleman vertonghen
oscar hazard ramsey barkley
aguero(c) suarez(vc) lukaku
subs: boruc, januzaj, kolo, chester
1.1m and 2FT
is it good to play 3chelsea & 3everton? or too risky?
im planning to spend 1FT, the one who i should transfer out has to be kolo right?
who should be my transfer in target?
1. kolo - gj
2. kolo - gabbidonOpen ControlsBoruc
Dawson Zaba Coleman
Ozil Ramsey Ravel Hazard
Giroud Suarez Aguero
Rat Brady Ward
0.6 in the bank and 1 FT
which one should i do?
A. Save FT
B. Ozil -> Gerrard/Cou and play Rat over Dawson
C. Ozil & Dawson -> Gerrard/Cou & Terry (-4)
need advice please..Open ControlsI have 8 players playing on Sunday this week . Not only is it annoying that I'll have to wait an extra day for my players to play, but with a midweek prem match, they might all be a bit more tired.
Open ControlsDZers. Looking for some opinion. Im considering Ozil -> Gerrard as my transfer for this week. The reasons for this are:
Liverpools next three fixtures are tasty!
He's been scoring consistently
Frees up funds
Think Ozil is a rotation risk
It does however leave me with no arsenal coverage
Thoughts??Open ControlsI really want to bring in Gerrard as well but due to financial constraints, I'll have to get Coutinho instead...
I doubt he is completely nailed on for every game over the festive, but Gerrard definitely is...
I personally think losing Ozil is a good move, but not at the expense of no Arsenal coverage, at least try to have Ramsey...Open Controls
Do people think Mourinho will keep using the 433 he used against West Ham or revert back to the 4231?
Open Controlsone thing playing it v west ham and another v southampton who will kill them with the pressing game
Open Controlsalso southampton will murder lampard in the midfield. I hope he plays it, will be hilarious to watch
Open ControlsWith that in mind, do you think Schurrle might play?
Open Controlschelsea midfield is too difficult to predict. I can see hazard starting only because he didn't play v basle, oscar too. Not sure about the rest.
Wouldn't get lampard in personally, he has been rotated quite a bit this season and christmas period will see him rotated again.Open Controls
Aston Villa v Sunderland 2 1
Cardiff City v Arsenal 1 1
Everton v Stoke City 3 0
Norwich v Crystal Palace 2 1
West Ham v Fulham 2 2
Newcastle v West Brom 1 1
Tottenham v Man Utd 1 2
Hull City v Liverpool 1 3
Chelsea v Southampton 3 0
Man City v Swansea 2 0
ur predictions ?Open ControlsChelsea winning 3-0 vs Southampton but Man City winning 2-0 vs Swansea? What makes you think that?
Open ControlsAston Villa v Sunderland 1 0
Cardiff City v Arsenal 0 2
Everton v Stoke City 1 2
Norwich v Crystal Palace 0 0
West Ham v Fulham 3 1
Newcastle v West Brom 3 2
Tottenham v Man Utd 1 3
Hull City v Liverpool 0 2
Chelsea v Southampton 3 1
Man City v Swansea 4 0Open Controlschelsea will find it tough, playing well v a rotten west ham has given people the impression chelsea are some free scoring side again. Back down to earth v basle and southampton will be another toughie I think. Going with 1-0, or 2-1 chelsea
Open ControlsHave a feeling Spurs will beat United.

Open Controls
Cheers mate. Do you think Wally will start atleast 2 from the next 3?
Open ControlsAt least 2 from the next 3, yes. He's had two 20ish minute cameos now against Southampton and Marseille. Would think he would start against Cardiff, but if not that then against Hull, and definitely against Everton.
Open ControlsI'm thinking of avoiding him this week as he doesn't quite look sharp yet. This may change though...
Open Controls
I've been at work for the past four hours. What happened with Aguero? Is he actually injured?
Open ControlsAny news on ridgewell?
Also need a 5.4 replacement for Reid, I really want azpilicueta but worried he may not be regularOpen ControlsI really hope Aguero,Suarez,Benteke,Wally,Oscar,Gerrard combo will give me green arrows the coming GWs.
Open ControlsThere's been a recent tactical shift with Ozil that Arsenal watchers may have seen. In the last 3 GWs (LIV, mun, SOU) Ozil has played more advanced, closer to Giroud, in front of the rest of the midfield, like a second striker. As a result in my opinion he's actually got worse as he sees less of the ball - this is backed up by a noticeable decline in passes received, passes made, and touches. This may contribute to the perception that he has gone missing in recent games, ooth in real and fantasy football. In this period he scored 6, 2, 3.
I think the intention of moving him forward was to increase his assists and goals by placing him closer to the action, but what's happened is that he's become isolated.Open ControlsA comparison of Ozil's stats from GW4-9 and GW10-13 is quite baffling actually and seems to confirm that this slight positional shift is a huge factor in his downturn in form...
I just hope Wenger rectifies it this week...Open ControlsWalcott back will allow that, once he starts ofcourse
Open Controls
Ozil, my man... you vex me... I've been thinking about you all week, when really I should be catching up on sleep... the thing is, you really need to be scoring me at least 5-6 points every week for 10.5m buddy... 3, 6, 2, 3 after that nice little haul you gave me just doesn't cut it... and as a result, you are my million dollar question this week, aren't you?
He's been in pretty poor form recently, and he then proceeds to miss a ridiculously poor penalty v Marseille, but quickly responded with an assist for Wilshere's 2nd goal... and was arguably the best player on the pitch in the second half...
So, are we to deduce that he has regained his confidence, that he the mental toughness to overcome the disappointment of missing the penalty, and therefore turn his form around just in time for me not to transfer him out and bloody miss his next double figure haul...?
Mert came out in the media today and said that there is much more to come from him soon, and that he will bounce back etc... is this him just trying to back his compatriot and take the pressure off him, or is revealing inside information that Ozil is now over the worst of his spells and that he is ready to tear Cardiff, Hull and Everton a new arsehole?
I leave that question to you... cos I can't decide if it's the right move to transfer him out or not...
Hazard/Oscar/Gerrard/Coutinho (and eventually Walcott) all lie in waiting...Open Controls2 more weeks then dump him Zep!
Open ControlsIn the mean time how do you propose I upgrade my midfield with my second FT?
If I choose this option, I'll have 7.3m to upgrade Brady... I'm thinking either Cabaye, Sess or Ravel...
Ozil Ramsey Barkley _____ (Januzaj)Open ControlsYep! 2 more weeks: car & HUL - Then its Ozil > Stevie G!
Open ControlsThat doesn't make sense to me at all. Getting Stevie G just as the fixtures are about to turn horrid...
Open Controls
I think he's like a silva deluxe version, he will get loads of assists and a few goals (around 8 for season), a consistent source of point. At 10.5 though he needs to be regularly explosive and armband contender but he's not. So your not going to feel completely happy owning. Considering price the ones u mention a better IMO, apart from maybe coutinho.

UCL fatasy: for those in it, update on Overall rank? i remained on 700 overall & 58 in FFScout
Unfortunetely, bad luck w/ going for 5.0 Carvajal upon Marca preview Lineup and Arbeloa was the one who started, Negredo in from bench (even tho he scored). Ended having to downgrade Vidal > Pogba last hr to upgrade to Negredo and that made all the diff.Open Controlsthose early games has screwed me out of 20pts at least! keep missing them...
Open Controlsmissing the deadline for switching? i know its cutofftime 5:45 gmt time.
my problems i s freaking france football and marca mags + i think it was daily mirror who all 3 said maruqinhos, carvajal, negredo were starting.none did. cost me a downgrade of vidal. at least got luky that negredo came in end for a gol and marquinhos 4 asisit.Open Controls
