Oh I just noticed this very second that Cabaye is on the suspension tightrope alongside Ravel...

This brings Sess to the top of the list now, if I was to just sell Brady this week...

Gameweek 13/14 help. Which 3 defenders to pick from these:-Rat/Vertonghen/Evans/Terry/Shawcross?

    Cheers.

Surely if you have them, Vert and Terry play every week?

I'd play Rat in GW13 if he's fit and Shawcross in GW14...

Btw, I think your defense is WAY too expensive, you need to downgrade at least one to a 4m defender IMO...

Its my draft league select so price isnt an issue. The daft thing is we are considering gameweek 13 and 14 as a double so I cant change the players once the selections are made. I forgot that I have Coleman too. Therefore Im thinking...

Terry/Coleman and either Vertonghen or Evans.

        But which?!

Ah OK then ignore everything I've said...

Also how the heck did you get all those guys in your draft?

How many teams in the league?

I'm in a draft league with 19 other teams, and my defense is Debuchy, M.Turner, McAuley, Vidic (Rose)

8 teams in my draft league with a squad of 18 each. I'm a bit more in the know when it comes to the fantasy game than some of the other players. Hence, I'm at the top. Having said that my forward line is garbage-Crouch, Bony and Lambert!

    Anyone want to rmt

    Mignolet
    Terry, Mert, Skrtel
    Ozil, Ramsey, Cabaye, Barkley
    Aguero (c), Suarez, Remy

    Boruc, Lallana, Clyne, Burner

Bank=3.0. I have used ft (Baines out, Skrtel in)

Keeping Lallana/Clyne for Villa next week & then will sell Lallana & keep Clyne.

Morning DZ, which of these options look best to bring in this week?

    A) J Collins
    B) M Olsson

Was originally set on Collins as WHU are more reliable in defence than NOR, but if Olsson is now playing OOP perhaps this makes him the better choice?

Will be rotating with Clyne and Ward for my 3rd defender spot.

Yeah, that's a fair point. Collins probably your best bet. Although, West Ham's not exactly water-tight at the back. Anyway, purely based on upcoming fixtures and options... has to be Collins

Three possibilities to try and redeem a failing season

    1) Remy & Williams to Evans & Rooney

    2) Amalfitano & Januzaj to Walcott & Pozuelo

    3) Chester & Januzaj to Zabaleta & Hernandez

    Current team

    Mignolet, Davis
    Terry, Mertesacker, Williams, Clyne, Chester

I'll have 7.3m to upgrade Brady... and I'm thinking either Cabaye, Sess or Ravel...

Probably go for Cabaye - he rotates home and away with Januzaj pretty well

unless you can use the money elsewhere in which case Ravel is a better bet as more likely to be keeper than Barkley or Januzaj

    Hey All,

    Upcoming GW team as follows:

    Boruc
    Mertesacker G.Johnson A.Williams
    Ramsey Ozil(vc) Sessegnon Oscar
    Rooney Suarez(c) Lukaku

    Vorm Januzaj Clyne Wilson

Double SOU & SWA defence means I'll have to play one of either Boruc/Vorm & Clyne/A.Williams. Not keen on A.Williams away to City, in the form City are in.

Would it be worth moving on either A.Williams to Coloccini or Debuchy OR Wilson to Rat/M.Turner?

    Thoughts appreciated

Always tough to look at one game week and see that all your defenders are in tough. Honestly I'd stick witb what you have (if I could hold my nerve). Swansea have a pretty good set of fixtures, and both Boruc and Clyne are still great value.
I would rather play Vorm and Clyne rather than Boruc and AWilliams, though.

If you must make a transfer then move Wilson. MTurner is a decent idea. Or if you want to go for a budget defender, Gabbidon or BTurner (though you would not want to play BTufner this week).

Over 3 weeks is anyone's guess. None have shown any consistency. They could all get big hauls or blanks. If I have to choose, I'd say Oscar & Coutinho.

HI zep, read the ozil note you wrote on the last page..
I'm having the same thoughts with ozil as he is not justifying the price atm.
I myself having an awful midfield want him out to at least have a decent one but it would really bother me if he hits form after i would sell him. It's going to be hard to get him again...
So are you all set to lose him this week or just give him a week or 2?

hey guy so heres my team for this week

    Speroni

    Koscielny, Johnson, Collins

    Sessegnon,Ramsey,Coutinho,Hazard

    Giroud,Suarez,Aguero

    Bench is Krul,McCauley,Bacuna,Pieters

My question is should I play Bacuna instead of sess this week as villa are home against Sunderland and Bacuna has been in good form lately, just a little unlucky and Sess is hit and miss?

I think the thing to ask yourself is which price points make you more comfortable. The thing with the Sess range is they all will have flaws, so getting one who plays all the time and is explosive is key imo, and the reason I went with him. No player bar Ramsey is safe for less than 8m+.

If you want security, than the two two guys in the 8-9m range are the way to go, plus they are somewhat transferable.

Very good points, thank you for expending the extra effort to articulate your thoughts...

        Much appreciated...

To be perfectly honest, I am compromising somewhat with Oscar and Coutinho, since I'd prefer to have both Hazard and Gerrard but financial constraints are forcing me to compromise slightly...

Does this change anything for you? I mean Oscar and Coutinho are still pretty good option in themselves...

I know people are in love w Hazard and Gerrard right now, but they'd have a hard time making a case that they are clearly superior. Since the differences are negligible at best, and your two are potentially as explosive, I don't think you are settling. Two great options at a price you can afford. What's not to like?

This. This year midfielders under 8.0 are largely a crap shoot. Cabaye is a steady mid who will net you ~130 FF points if he plays ~2400 min. based on his history. Sessegnon has averaged ~150 in his 2 full seasons. No one saw Ramsey coming. And Lampard - if CHE stay in a 4-3-3 could be back. Settle on your forwards and defense and rotate mids on form.

In no particular order, Barkley, R. Morrison, Amalfitano, Arnautovic, and Schneiderlin. All of these guys deserve consideration in that price bracket at the very least. When is Arnautovic gonna turn it on, by the way? All I hear is he's got talent, and I've seen glimpses of it, but when he really stood out in the game against United, he quickly turned up ill not long into second half. Is he just sour being at Stoke? Maybe he thinks he should be at one of the world's upper crust clubs? Something is up, because he seems too good to not be getting more points.

Can't think anymore - more group think required... the Benteke with Weimann/Agbon stats have encoruaged me, but the Aguero being f*cking unreal stat is killing me...

3 weeks ago I asked whether I should bring in Aguero for a 4pt hit or a straight swap to Benteke... the crowd said Benteke and I agreed... cost = approx 50pts (when capt taken into account).

I now face the same dilemma...

Benteke is in my team with SAS. I'm keeping SAS until the Tottenham game. So my options are:

Benteke out, Aguero in (4pt hit, with Dawson to $3.9m def which will be my second $3.9m def!)
    Benteke out, Negredo in
    Leave it how it is.

    Team is:

    Mig (Harper)
    Koschielny, Dawson, Shawcross (Clyne, Faye)
    Yaya, Oscar, Ramsey, Cabaye (Barkley)
    Suarez, Sturridge, Benteke...

Any help appreciated folks! I'm 6pts off top of my ML, so this is tight... the two other guys up there have Aguero already...
