all those who downgrading Rooney to lukaku question yourself

why would you get player who lies about his age in your team?

he is like 27 year old and trying too fool everyone

it's not first time that something like this happen

players like him all well known for lies about ages

also Rooney is world class player and Lukaku is not

to be honest I wouldn't be surprised if he lied about his age, he seems way to big for a 20 year old...didn't Martins lie about his age at Inter Milan?

Yes, but Aguero cheats at poker and Peter Crouch pulls the legs off spiders. It's a game and the players are merely pieces - their morality shouldn't really influence us.

He looks SO much older than he is, especially when he is younger. So much so that it's natural to ask a few questions about it. However there are some individuals that have those kind of Lukaku-genetics, I mean it happens, no reason it couldn't happen to a professional footballer. Innocent 'til proven guilty I'd say 🙂

What should I do to improve my team?

Think I need to improve the midfield somehow. Should I switch A Williams to some even cheaper defender to create funds for Nasri => Gerrard/Coutinho/Walcott/Oscar/Hazard?

I can't believe Everton got a world class talent like Deulofeu on loan. Must have been Martinez's Spanish connections. The guy has incredible close control and dribbling, can kill the ball dead and stand there waiting for the defender to make the wrong move.

this. however i am still a bit confused why barca would waste his year on loan to any team that isnt going to feature him. if they wanted him in england at least send him to sunderland or some crap team that would give him starts. he would be given the same treatment-ish if he stayed at barca (slight exaggeration, but still..)

Yeah good point, I was confused too why he was on the bench so much. I think he's being eased in, not being rushed, being given cameos to adapt to the Premiership and Everton's system. Could well be starting by Christmas.

especially with coleman and baines (in the long term) bombing forward they would be so exposed on the wings if / when they lose possession. would be exciting tho!

Yeah they'd have to be the most dangerous side on the wings if they did that. With Barkley as the CAM too behind Lukaku, it would be ridiculously talented.

The thing that seems worth using my FT on this week is The defence. 0 in the bank.

    A) Dawson to Evans or other with similar price?
    B) Rat out?
    C) Save FT?

I got him in last week for his blank when he did everything but score. Then I got a goal out of him this week when he did nothing apart from score. This game. Anyway he's still playing in a very free role on the left.

I think his role does differ from when he was playing with Sturridge earlier in the season. He was the left midfielder in a 4-2-3-1 and generally stayed on the left. His role is definitely freer with Suarez and Sturridge both as strikers in a 4-4-2. He drifts all over the attacking third and does get quite a lot of shots that way. Loves playing through balls and one-twos.

good point isacki, i agree. pool attack once sturr comes back, hopefully this weekend, is terrifying. cout could be in for some nice returns and a differential at this juncture to boot. at least a good shout for a couple weeks while we are all waiting for wally to gain match fitness

Yep that was the original plan, to have him until it's time to buy Wally. Knowing FPL Coutinho will become essential and then I will have to find some other way of getting Walcott 😆

Normally I'd not be too expectant of goals at Hull but their defence does seem to have deteriorated; their constant reshuffling of personnel and formations might be responsible.

Also Coutinho must be one of the most versatile midfielders I've ever seen, one minute he's darting down the left, then he's cutting inside and playing it to Gerrard, then he moves deeper and receives the ball in the 'quarterback' position, then plays it forward to Henderson and runs forward, receives the pass back, tries to play a one-two into the box with Suarez...

he has unbelievable skill on the ball but the one thing i have to say that infuriates me when watching cout is how many times he does this, as you describe above, and it results in a goal kick. i feel like he needs to add a bit of directness to his game instead of always trying to make the perfect pass or be too cute. he squanders so many scoring opportunities i feel.

i still love watching him play.

i got him prior to the derby. i think his finish on his goal wasn't given enough credit - inside out on the foot a very nice goal even though he was in close. it was difficult to determine a long term outlook because sturridge was on the bench, but he should be rotating between wing and central throughout. he, as we all know, has a tendency to disappear for stretches of games, but his skill is unquestioned and he is always a threat with the ball on his foot near the box. i would prefer him to gerrard because he can actually do things in open play while gerrard relies entirely on set pieces if you are trying to double up on pool attack w suarez with their favorable fixtures upcoming.

so i'm torn between benteke and rooney

right now I have benteke and 2.4 in the bank. I wanted to do benteke >> rooney but I want you guys' opinion.

    benteke:

    Pros:
    Sunderland home
Weimann and Gabby are back so he will get support
I am only person with benteke in my ML so big differential

    Cons:
    Terrible form
Aston villa dont look like scoring much

    Rooney:

    Pros:
    Great form
Anything united do comes through him
United were rampant with Rooney up top and Kagawa in the hole today

    Cons:
Spurs away. City did put 6 past them but they will bounce back
    On 4 yellows.

should I wait one more week or should I make the move now? aguero and suarez are my other strikers.
