The Gameweek begins with a bang. Matches don’t come any bigget than City vs Arsenal – a top of the table clash between the two major attacking forces in the Premier League to this point.

City put their 100% home record on the line against an Arsenal side that oozes class and creativity from midfield. With 29 goals amassed in front of their own fans, it’s hard to see the Gunners keeping Manuel Pellegrini’s side at bay and yet Arsenal’s rearguard arrives in Manchester having conceded more than one goal in a league match just once all season. Something has to give and Fantasy managers will be hoping that the likes of Sergio Aguero, Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Ozil are in the mix when the blows are exchanged.

Look out for the latest team sheet news via our Twitter feed, while our Duguout Discussion chatroom will accompany you throughout the match and into the three o’clock kick-offs to cater for your real-time needs.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Koscielny Mertesacker partnership has been critical for Arsenal this season. Losing Koscielny is a huge blow and Vermaelen just hasn't been good enough in recent seasons. Can't see Arsenal's defensive record continuing.

Congratulation on that insight, he is also a leader, tall, strong and read the games better than anyone else in our squad. Verm is a very similar player to Kos.

very aggressive response don't you think?

I think their partnership complements each other, now it will be on Vermaelen to complement Mertesacker in the same manner so that they can each cover the other's weaknesses and magnify the strengths.
