With the frantic festive period now behind us, we can finally take stock and assess the statistics over the last few matches. Having last looked at the data in Gameweek 17, we have three sets of matches to investigate – Arsenal’s midfield, Tottenham’s attack and United and City’s frontmen are all placed under the microscope this time around:

Dear all BPL teams,
I have quite a good thing going this year in FPL, so could you possibly make 0 transfers so that I won't have to shift my team to accommodate all of the new players I would want.
Sincerely,
An anxious FPL PlayerOpen ControlsSame here. Stayed at 104.4 despite owning Coleman, Hazard and Ravel.
Open Controlssterling needs to rise 0.1m more to have required SV.

repost
The awesomeness of my team will depend on Oscar being a viable alternative to Hazard
Mannone Marshal
Koscielny Coleman Shaw Ward Chester
Ozil Walcott Silva Oscar Mutch
Suarez Aguero* Jrod
I'll have a placeholder and change instead of Aguero. Probably Ade, maybe lukaku. If it turns out I don't want Aguero 4.3m in the bank keeps me very flexible.
Would I be better off with Hazard over Oscar? Would mean 2 trades instead of 1 somewhere to get Kun thoughOpen ControlsI would say get Hazard now, and plan 2 transfers when Kun is ready. Better to have money on the pitch than in the bank.
Open ControlsYou're probably right cheers.
Do we all agree Hazard is better than Oscar if we forget about value for a minute?Open ControlsHazard is Mourinho's favorite. He just likes Oscar more than Mata.
Open ControlsYeah but he seems to rate them both very highly. Hazard has more points in him though yeah?
Open Controls
Just seen, ta fitzy.
Decided to do it this gw instead because I know what I want (bar haz vs oscar) and comparing my team for this gw with wc team I don't see any point in waitingOpen Controls
If you have Oscar, I don't think its worth to drop him for Hazard(not sure if this is your current team or wildcard team). Right now its a wait and see who is better...Hazards price is skyrocketing, so Oscar might be worth the saved cash. When both Oscar and Hazard played, Oscar was more consistent....but its still a wait and see for me
Open ControlsThis is wc team. I'm on wildcard now. Already had Oscar and I'm now sitting on both. Will need to drop one of them for Ozil near deadline though
Open ControlsOk I see....well luckily you have some time still to decide. I would go with Oscar but Hazard looks like he's hitting serious form so I'm not too sure
Open Controls
I'd get Hazard now although i owned Oscar for quite a long time before when he was priced at 8.9-9.1. FWIW, Hazard is still a flat track bully, and Oscar is still the guy to play most in UCL games. Your call.
Open ControlsThanks for all the replies guys. I'll go with haz. Hopefully will be able to have 2 ft's when kun returns, if not I'll take a hit if need be
Open Controls
when we can have our 4th round cup draw ?
Open ControlsI was gonna do Cabaye to Lallana or Eriksen.....but Cabaye seems more integral to his team than the others and after they play City next their fixtures are good.
Open ControlsFriendly fixtures in Abu Dhabi for Man city in January and possible friendlies for chelsea and united in Jan/feb (in Qatar)
Manchester City are also expected to head to the Middle-East for a warm-weather training week in the middle of January. City will then play against Al Ain on 14 January (2 days after the premier league clash with Newcastle and 4 days before the clash with Cardiff at the Etihad) to open the club’s new stadium, the Hazza bin Zayed.

Trying to pick my team for the next gameweek. Which ONE should i play?
A) Chester (CHE)
B) Ward (tot)
C) Ward-Prowse (WBA)Open ControlsJWP
Open Controls
Sorted. 100% set on this
GW21: Save
GW22: Evans + Neg ➡ Kos + Aguero (C)
GW23: Punt/WC depending on fortunes and rises
GW24: (if not already) WC!Open Controlsgood luck planning ahead. How can you even plan for next week? There is fa cup and league cup semi's to come. It's really difficult to say you can save a transfer not knowing how many injuries will pile up
Open ControlsEscape route would be Ki ➡ Eriksen then WC earlier
Open Controls
Marshall/Boruc
Coleman/Kos/Clyne/Chester/Ward
Wally/Hazzy/Ozil/Silva/Puncheon
Suarez/Aguero/JRodOpen ControlsNot seen a better team yet, top 1k here I come 🙂
Open ControlsYou stole my team 👿
Open Controls
1.7 million price difference between Hazard and Oscar, crazy...
Open Controlsevening all.
hows this wc draft looking.
manone marshal
coleman kos ward chester burner
haz yaya walcott silva jwp
saurez kun adebayor
kun obviously only when backOpen Controlsright now I'm set up for GW21:
Mannone (Lewis)
Coleman, Mert, Burner (Ward, Chester)
Silva, Walcott (c), Hazard, Sterling (Ki)
Rooney, Suarez (v), Negredo
1 FT, 2.5m
hopefully the 12 cup matches being played in the next week will be kind and injury-free so I can make a transfer decision without that hanging overhead..Open Controlsnot too shabby
Open Controls
How long do you think before Brady is back for Chester?
Open Controlsno idea
Open ControlsHe probably won't even be a starter when back.
Open Controls
not seeing many Ramseys in peoples WC why is that? surely its too early to say that Eriksen (current flavour of the week) is a better alternative
Open ControlsThoughts on this team?
Ruddy
Distin Coleman Bardsley
Hazard Walcott Silva Cabaye
Suarez Rooney Rodriguez
Lewis Chester Redmond Debuchy
2FT. No cash.
Thanks.Open ControlsIn very good shape with 2ft
Open ControlsCheers Champ.
Open Controls
Start Debuchy just to troll people
Open ControlsI hope so. There's a good chance of getting a CS against Norwich imo. But I could also do;
Distin + Debuchy>> Koscielny + Clyne.Open Controls
If only you can do Distin to Kosc/Sagna then it'd be a real beauty.
Open ControlsCheers. Above mentioned transfers sound good?
Distin + Debuchy>> Koscielny + Clyne?Open Controls
J Rod or Adebayor as my cheap WC forward
Open ControlsI went with Ade last GW.

I've asked a few times but no one seems to know - will try one more time. I figure with a site like this maybe the admins/mods have some insider knowledge.
Just how many teams are actually in the Sky game?
It infuriates me that this info isn't just readily available somewhere.Open Controlshaha insider knowledge from torresmodgic, ryan and co. Good one!
Open ControlsTry emailing sky?
Open Controls
Which is better fpl wise at the moment?
1) Cabaye or Eriksen
2) Olsson (Norwich) or WardOpen ControlsAnyone have any recent news on Glen Johnson's injury. It's not on physio room and I'm planning to hold off on my wildcard.
Open ControlsSperoni and Marshall aren't getting enough love as rotating Wildcard keepers. Crystal Palace are very solid defensively, especially at home, and are much more likely to keep clean sheets than Sunderland (Mannone and Marshall seems to be the most popular choice).
Speroni and Marshall give you:
GW21: West Ham (H)
GW22: Stoke (H)
GW23: Hull (H)
GW24: Norwich (H)
GW25: West Brom (H)
GW26: Aston Villa (H)
GW27: Hull (H)
GW28: Swansea (A) - The only real weakness
GW29: Fulham (H)
GW30: Sunderland (A)
Looks pretty great to me and the combination will only set you back 9.2.Open ControlsMannone and Marshal is even better though
Open ControlsDefinitely my GK combo when i WC later this month.
Open ControlsLike I said I don't think Sunderland will keep as many clean sheets as Crystal Palace.
Open ControlsHmm you may be right but I'm not so sure. Sun have tightened up a lot and have a good back line. I'll be having Mannone and Ward anyway
Open Controls
of course
Open Controls
For the next two which would you rather?
Lukaku (NOR, wba) or Adebayor (CPL, swa)Open ControlsLukaku, though if he blanks this time he's getting the chop
Open Controlshmm. I'm leaning towards ade. More explosive no?
Open Controls
Ade, but I might be biased as had Lukaku for the 5 match streak where he didnt score (captained twice) and got rid of him the week before he did.
Open ControlsIt will be close but Adebayor is in better form so I'd plump for him
Open ControlsThat's what I'm thinking, cheers
Open Controls
Ade
Open Controls
long term would you rather have Terry or coleman?

For GW21 - Gerrars (stk) / Silva (new) / Lallana (WBA) ?
Lallana right?
