Over the last couple of days, we’ve updated both the Career Hall of Fame and the Live version for members. The Career version now includes all new additions to the Fantasy Football Scout leagues and is viewable to all via this link or the top menu “HoF” link. This table will be updated every week with new entrants.

The Hall of Fame is a ranking system which we apply to everyone in our Fantasy Premier League (FPL) mini-leagues – both the free and the members league. Essentially, it tracks the performances of every manager over each of the seasons they have participated and awards a “HoF rating” accordingly.

The “Live” version of the Hall of Fame, available to our Members, has been updated to include points earned in Gameweek 20. This will be updated with the latest rankings 24 hours after the conclusion of every Gameweek from this point on.

If you’re wondering what the Hall of Fame is all about, you can read below for a quick guide. Alternatively, you can view this movie to listen to Mark and Rate My Team’s Chris Atkinson talk you through it.

Live Hall of Fame Top 10

In the meantime, we thought we’d run the rule over those at the top following the update:

Site moderator Evs is the new number one in the Live Hall of Fame. Having finished fifth overall last year, he looks poised for yet another incredible season – he currently sits on 1,298 points, which is enough to earn him 1,846th spot overall with another 18 Gameweeks to go.

Ulrik Nylnad sits in second spot. His consistency over the past seven seasons in staggering – in six of those years, he’s finished inside the top 2,100, with his “worst” performance back in 2011/12, where he ended in 7,729th spot overall. Ulrik is currently situated around the 46,000 mark but with such an impressive history, you’d expect him to push on again.

Derek Simpson takes third spot. He ended last year in 38th position overall and has finished inside the top 4,000 in five of the last six seasons – at present, he’s just inside the 100,000 mark but has plenty time to make his mark.

In fourth, Rob Pitt has finished inside the top 1,000 in two of the last three years and is nicely poised around the 12K mark, whilst Chris Denbeigh is set for another outstanding season. He has top beaten the 2,5000 mark in six of the previous seven years and is currently situated in 2,559th spot overall.

Elsewhere in the top 10, Atiq Rahman is the highest of our featured managers in this season’s overall standings. A score of 1,304 points has helped him climb to 1,337th position – boosting his chances of finishing inside the top 5,000 for the sixth time in seven years. Pascal Evans has managed a top 1,000 finish in five of the previous seven but, currently sitting in 152,350th overall, has a task on his hands to repeat that feat.

What is the Hall of Fame?
In simple terms, this is as ranking system which can be applied to everyone in our Fantasy Premier League mini-leagues – both the free and the members league. The Hall of Fame tracks the performances of every manager over each of the seasons they have participated and awards a ranking according to the performances. We have a career table that updates every season and a live table that will be updated using the latest season data, after every Gameweek.

How is my rating calculated?
The “HoF Rating” is based on your points scores from previous FPL seasons, with the latest season weighted the heaviest and each corresponding season weighted at roughly 80% that of the previous season. So, in other words, those who performed best in 2012/13 will receive a bigger HoF Rating boost from those who did best in 2007/08. The “HoF Ranking” even allows for those with missing years, adapting the formula accordingly to allow to rank alongside the veterans of the FPL.

How do I join the Hall of Fame
Simply sign up to our leagues, either the Fantasy Football Scout Classic League (1580-1106), or if you’re a member, the Members Classic League – the code is available on the dashboard of the Members Area.

How do I find myself in the Hall of Fame?
The search box at the top of the ranking tables allows you to search by surname or by FPL id.

What if I don’t want to be listed?
Either notify us via support@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk or simply leave the Fantasy Football Scout league and you’ll be removed on the next update.

When does the Hall of Fame get updated?
The Career table is available to all and is updated at the end of each season to display the latest rankings.

The Live version of the Hall of Fame is updated every week to use the latest season data. This version will only be available to our members in the Members Area. If you wish to get access to the live version, you can sign up as a member. Click here for details on upgrading your account or signing up.

Made a little draft, will WC when Aguero is fit. Bit template but oh well. You like?

    Boruc - (Davis)
    Baines - (Burner/Brown) - (Chester/Ward)
    Hazard - Walcott - Silva - Eriksen - (Kim)
    Suarez - Aguero - JRod

Is double Arsenal defence an option? Brought in both Koscielny and Sagna in on WC to take the rises whilst I decided who I wanted more but now I like the look of both!

Last season I'd never dream of doubling up on such a fragile attack minded team but this season they've looked solid and have a great run of fixtures.

Hi all, have been following posts for this season, but just recently joined up as full member. I have to admit I am really impressed with this site, its articcles and members views, and it has really helped me take this FPL obsession to the next level. So...for my first post. The Southampton Full back dilemma....

Does anyone have a view on if Clyne struggle to retain starting position over Chambers? I watched the Chelsea game and have to admit for a young lad up against a big team he wasnt to afraid to push forward (as does Clyne).Do you think now Clyne is fit he will push Chambers back to the bench?

I am ok with my team other than my back line, Burner, Flanagan and Clyne being the weak links.

    Cheers

Was same at start of season when CLyne was injured, took him a few weeks to get his place back and usually just came off the bench. I suspect that will be the case again but we are just guessing.

Like Flanagan, Chambers could keep his place for a few weeks, but will drop to the bench when the first choice (Clyne) is back up to full fitness/form (soon). Then that position will need another transfer.

Thanks for comments all. I have Clyne already so the question was really should I hold on to him. He may be a victim of the WC at the end of Jan to support getting Aguero back in depending on minutes and performance over the next few gameweeks.

In general: keep money in the bank or just have a double transfer contingency plan if a big hitter you want is currently injured?

I've been going with the former since Kun got injured but I'm thinking that's "leaving too many points" in the bank..

          definitely your prerogative..

I assume you also don't have Silva or Yaya?

Fact is that as of right now (could change this weekend) there aren't a lot of price changes happening (hell there may be none today), so there's no rush!

Plan your transfers, check TotalFPL in about 3.5 hours and then decide what you do today..

    After Palace it's

liv, MNU, SUN, sto, SWA, tot, che, MCI, eve, WHM, hul, NEW, WBA, nor

I think it is working mate has been slow all day and not many transfers being made.

This is the normal pattern as you usually get a rush on the first day or two as people want to catch the price rises, then you get loads at the end once people know who is fit and playing in the next GW.

        Cheers!

Didn't know Triggerlips was such a good performer.

Another one I'm fairly sure would enter the list on a high position if he signed up is Dadoune30

Up to 67k now after a few good/decent weeks, so not great but with half a season to go I'm hoping to salvage a good finish still. A lot of points to play for 🙂
