Coleman just walked reasonably freely to the team coach so hopefully doesn't seem like a serious hamstring injury on par with Deulofeu's#EFC

So, Lukaku owners, how does his performance today influence your transfer decisions this week? I have Suarez - Aguero - Lukaku, and am planning on either holding him for another week for the derby against Liverpool (since anything can happen) or switching him for Rooney if he is healthy on Wednesday against Sunderland.

    Others thoughts?

And yeah saw it. Lots of issues like you say. Personally i blame the defensive solely for Sunday + Welbeck's miss. Not sure what Moyes can do really, it's the players mainly. He's made some mistakes in terms of transfers + he obviously doesn't yet have the motivational skills that Fergie did. Will personally just wait till the end of the season to judge. Top 4 easily do-able with both RVP/Rooney coming back now.

Severe lack of quality across the board I'm afraid, apart from Rooney/RVP of course. Can you imagine Evans starting for Chelsea or City? How about Smalling? Need to upgrade DEF and Mids and get the other 2 lads healthy!

Regardless of quality, my point is that Rooney is already occupying the role that Kagawa would play in so what good is Mata if he will also play that role.

Indeed that's the only way but it basically means changing the whole ethos of a club that has wingers ingrained in its culture. Very hard thing to do IMO. Easier to just buy good wingers.

You don't see too many traditional wingers these days. A majority are inside forwards and the full-backs provide width, we've yet to change from the 'old fashioned' system and playing a bog standard 4-4-2 really isn't helping.

I agree that it's not as common anymore, I'm just saying that it would be very hard to change this overnight. In theory, it seems much more exciting having a CM to sit next to Carrick and playing Kagawa, Rooney, Janujaz behind RVP but you need to re-educate the squad as they've been playing like that for their whole careers (those who have been at United anyway) so it's very difficult.

Not a bad shout. Lallana best attacking threat at Southampton just ahead of JRod, Cabaye neck and neck with Remy, Eriksen probably second best to Adebayor. Chances of good points and bonus on a regular basis.

I'd wait for Carroll to show some sort of form first and then look at it..Carroll would be my pick at WHAM..close to zero ownership and working with Nolan and Ravmo together..if they can keep Ravmo happy that is. I think they may come good both at the back (obviously) when injuries clear up and up front.

    More on Cabaye

Found this on a french site: http://www.maxifoot.fr/football/article-20779.htm

Quick translation - 26m Euros. Will only be sold once Newcastle have a replacement signed. Targeting Cabella from Montpellier

Cabella is going to Newcastle in the summer it seems so most likely means that Cabaye will go in the summer. Suits Cabaye as well as it guarantees him a spot in the WC squad due to regular football, suits Newcastle cause they keep Cabaye for another 6 months and well, PSG? They don't really need him to win the league anyway!
