        Imma do it I think. That's crazy bad luck.I have been playing pretty conservatively so far but think I'm gonna jummp in and take the chance can't afford to miss Mata's rocket in price and Gerrard just looks a bad option despite his jammy penalties.

    I don't have a lot of players at discount and will WC this week...

    Right now I'm on...

    Mannone/Boruc
    Koscielny/Ward/Bruce/Azpilcueta/Kolarov
    Eriksen/AJohnson/Puncheon/Mata/Hazard
    Suarez/Giroud/Bony

    zero in the bank.

    Is this the best I can do? Rooney and Aguero seem out of the price range. Mata could be downgraded to a Ramsey, Johnson could become an Oscar or Gerrard...

    Any advice for a guy trying to get the most bang from his buck buying retail?

        Asked yesterday but would appreciate more input. 🙂

        Would anyone risk benching Gerrard and play Januzaj and Eriksen? If he starts then Januzaj is in, which leaves Eriksen or Gerrard.
        It seems crazy but Suarez is taking a lot of Gerrards free kicks and he will be playing a lot deeper than Eriksen but he does love a derby.

        No, I have to bench Eriksen unless Januzaj doesn't start don't I? 😕 😕

            Had same problem with Gerrard and Eriksen, decided to bench Eriksen. after last week cant see Gerrard playing so deep and his returns have been pretty consistent.

            He's been the main man since the start of the season though, and after a great start he's run out of juice. You can see when you watch him that he's tired, and he's always lacked pace. Quite frustrating to own.

          Potentially 'noob' question so apologies in advance...

          If a player loses 0.1 in value do you always lose 0.1 off your sell price?

          I currently have Coleman sell price at 6.3, will it go down to 6.2 or not? If not, why?

            Look up -- I bought at 5.8 and he is at 6.8 so tonight I can sell him at 6.3; tomorrow he will be at 6.7 so I can sell at 6.2 -- every 0.2m drop is a -0.1 in selling price.

              I can't even remember how to work this out! I got him GW16 but how do I know how much I purchased him for since he rose from 5.8 to 6 between GW15 and GW16

            No...not always. It does work like that when he drops below your original buying price, but it continues with the 0.1 drop in sell price for every actual 0.2 of real drop until you get to your original cost. It basically wipes out your gains slowly.

              Thanks mate that makes sense, how do I work out the original cost I bought him at? I transferred him in for GW16 so it could have been either 5.8, 5.9 or 6.0

                Go to the Transfers page for your team, but instead of leaving it in "Pitch View" switch it to Data View (click tabs at the top just above your GK's). Then you can see PP which is Price Paid for each player. You can track your drops this way and therefore not be so panicky with the transfers. Cheers.

          People having a going at me for taking a -16.

          This is my justification.

          My Trades>

          Negredo>Aguero (Must do) - FT
          Ozil>Yaya (Cant ignore him any longer) – Probably could have avoided this trade but could pay off and i didn’t get a price drop)
          Lallana>Ramsey (Wilshire injured and Lallana likely to do nothing vs strongest defence in league) – Possibly could have avoided this trade
          Coleman>Kolarov (Coleman Injured, Parr and Chester also injured so i had no replacement)
          Silva>Mata (Vs Cardiff, ill take the punt and take the price rises, question marks over Silva fitness too, who is made form glass)

          So basically -8 was a must do. And to make up for another -8 i have Mata vs Cardiff and Ramsey vs Soton who have been leaky as of late.
