Gameweek 35 gets under-way with five games kicking off shortly. Then it’s over to Stamford Brigde to see if Chelsea can keep up the heat on the league leaders, whereas the visitors will be setting their sights on the other Manchester club for that all-important fourth spot. The Dugout Discussion is up and running, so come in and take a seat if you fancy a chat.

The team sheets from the 3pm games are in, and here they are…

Blackburn XI: Robinson, Salgado, Samba, Phil Jones, Givet, Emerton, Nzonzi, Jermaine Jones, Olsson, Roberts, Mwaruwari

Bolton XI: Bogdan, Robinson, Wheater, Knight, Gardner, Moreno, Cahill, Cohen, Taylor, Elmander, Kevin Davies

It’s the same story for both teams in that they both have strikers missing through injury. Neither Junior Hoilett for Rovers or Daniel Sturridge for Wanderers were passed fit.

Blackpool XI: Gilks, Eardley, Evatt, Baptiste, Crainey, Southern, Adam, Vaughan, Phillips, Taylor-Fletcher, Campbell

Stoke XI: Begovic, Wilkinson, Huth, Shawcross, Wilson, Pennant, Whitehead, Whelan, Delap, Walters, Jones

No surprises in either line-up in what is a must-win game for relegation-threatened Blackpool.

Sunderland XI: Mignolet, Elmohamady, Turner, Onuoha, Bardsley, Henderson, Cattermole, Colback, Muntari, Malbranque, Sessegnon

Fulham XI: Schwarzer, Salcido, Senderos, Hughes, Baird, Kakuta, Murphy, Sidwell, Davies, Zamora, Gudjohnsen

Stephane Sessegnon continues up-front for the home side, but it’s the visitors who make the major changes. Mid-week heroes Clint Dempsey and Brede Hangelaand completely miss out, and there’s a surprise start for Eidur Gudjohnsen.

West Brom XI: Carson, Jara, Meite, Olsson, Shorey, Vela, Scharner, Mulumbu, Morrison, Cox, Odemwingie

Aston Villa XI: Friedel, Walker, Collins, Dunne, Luke Young, Ashley Young, Reo-Coker, Petrov, Downing, Agbonlahor, Bent

As with the game and Bloomfield Road, there are no surprises for either side in the Midlands derby.

Wigan XI: Al Habsi, Boyce, Gary Caldwell, Alcaraz, Figueroa, Diame, Watson, N’Zogbia, McCarthy, Cleverley, Rodallega

Everton XI: Howard, Hibbert, Jagielka, Distin, Baines, Osman, Neville, Rodwell, Arteta, Cahill, Anichebe

Everton finally welcome back their Spanish maestro Mikel Arteta after his long lay-off. Fantasy favourite Seamus Coleman is dropped to the bench however, as is striker Jermain Beckford.

How pathetic are United fans they would be a middle table team who hadn't won away all season if it wasn't for the help of referees and then after one game where we get lucky have the nerve to say referees back Chelsea, laughable.

We should have had a penalty and Kaboul should have been sent off, had that been the case then we would have won even without the two worst decisions in the history of the game.

You have to win the ball, you can't skiff it with your foot and then bring someone down from behind. See Darren Fletcher in the CL semi-final against Arsenal a couple of years ago, for instance.

The "he touched the ball so it's not a foul" rule is one of the great myths in football.

Ok, if you want to argue the point, why don't you look up the laws of the game and point to the statement where the "he touched the ball first so it's not a foul" rule is established. You'll be looking a long time because it doesn't exist.

People have debunked this several thousand times - here's the first hit on google, for example: http://www.wengerball.com/archives/debunking-he-greatest-myth-in-football

Interesting -- you've finally discovered that backing those decisions, as you previously have -- makes you an unbelievable plonk ... hence, your 'delicate' shift and rationalization of the game.

Add to it your clumsy United WUM attempt and you have completed some sort of unholy trifecta here.

I'd expected more out of the Priests ... must update my expectations.

Mourinho coulda been talking about Chels ... fact. Boo-hoo to you.

Both decisions were extremely difficult for the officials to make as they were both very tight. Not the clear cut blatant cheating as made out by most on here.

Careful ... you're backpedaling awfully close to reasonableness here ... 🙂

Not sure anyone mentioned 'clear cut blatant cheating' ... I will cede the point that Chels also didn't hurt any African tree frogs during the game, like 'everyone's' been saying.

Besides, didn't the linesman call 'no goal' only to be overruled by the ref? Seems it wasn't so difficult, then.
