Its really frustrating how one move can end up costing you so many points in a few weeks. In GW24 I bought Carroll in for Aguero, the other player I was considering was Adebayor. GW25 I had to sell Carroll and at that point had the funds to get RVP who was too appealing to pass up at home to Fulham.
Adebayor has outscored my points from those two by 14 since then, on top of that there was the -4 for shifting Carroll and another 15 points lost as I was going to captain Hazard against Newcastle until I got RVP.
