Gameweek 27 concludes with three matches that address both title ambitions and relegation concerns.

Liverpool’s credentials as title challengers will come under the spotlight as they clash with Swansea at Anfield. The visitors come into the game potentially leg weary after their fine performance against Napoli in the Europa League on Thursday. In contrast, Brendan Rodgers side will be fresh and looking build on their last two home appearances which has seen them claim nine goals against the Everton and Arsenal defences.

Elsewhere, Newcastle will be looking to stem the tide of three straight defeats without a goal as they face up to Villa at St James’ Park. Paul Lambert’s side will be seeking to come away from the North East with at least a point to consolidate their position outside of the relegation places.

Events then conclude at Carrow Road, with Norwich battling to keep themselves out of the bottom three and hoping to get a result against a Totteham outfit that struck four goals on their last away trip at Newcastle.

      No-one else in my ML has Sturridge, so I played safe with Suarez (C)

      past two seasons I've been very fast to adapt early on, but very slow to adapt starting at around this time (including this year, captaining Suarez nearly every week despite the temptation to do otherwise recently). Lost rank each year from GW30 on.

      Chelsea were recently linked with a move for Sturridge.

      But tbh, why would he leave. Its Rodgers that brought him in and had faith in him, and he's in great form. Especially if Liverpool get into the CL there's no reason why he'd leave yet.
      He's young enough that it doesn't matter about trophies just yet (and he has a PL and CL medal anyway)

      If in a couple of years Liverpool aren't close to winning anything maybe he'd want to leave, but right now it would be illogical to go anywhere
