Gameweek 27 concludes with three matches that address both title ambitions and relegation concerns.

Liverpool’s credentials as title challengers will come under the spotlight as they clash with Swansea at Anfield. The visitors come into the game potentially leg weary after their fine performance against Napoli in the Europa League on Thursday. In contrast, Brendan Rodgers side will be fresh and looking build on their last two home appearances which has seen them claim nine goals against the Everton and Arsenal defences.

Elsewhere, Newcastle will be looking to stem the tide of three straight defeats without a goal as they face up to Villa at St James’ Park. Paul Lambert’s side will be seeking to come away from the North East with at least a point to consolidate their position outside of the relegation places.

Events then conclude at Carrow Road, with Norwich battling to keep themselves out of the bottom three and hoping to get a result against a Totteham outfit that struck four goals on their last away trip at Newcastle.

    For those not watching the game, Suarez is again playing wide and fairly deep in what looks like a
    4-2-3-1. Really doesn't look like doing anything, nowhere near the goal. It has been like this for about a month.

        Rarely switching. Suarez is painfully deep. If anything it is Sterling and Henderson switching to go central. Coutinho doing his thing of starting around half way line, beating half the team and he's playing it left to Sterling usually or using his run to switch it over to the right where Studge is.

    The lure of Suarez captain as a differential was too strong this week. Today should be a tipping point. Will hopefully be able to KEEP the armband on Sturridge this week

          That's the way I look at it. Cover those above me with Suarez (C) and Sturridge moves me up the table 🙂

          Looks like it's time to move Suarez on now. I worry about Sturridge staying injury free, though, he's like a thoroughbred

        I'd have to see it again but it looked like it was just heading to the ground (in front of the goal line Doogie Howser) not towards the goal.

      I reckon my biggest mistake of the season was when I played my Jan wildcard and, not being able to fit in both, didn't have the guts to drop Suarez and play Studge instead.

      No doubt when I do Suarez to Aguero and bring in Studge next month, it'll be time for Suare to shine again ....
