We analyse the numbers from Saturday and Sunday’s matches as Fantasy managers assess their options ahead of the double Gameweek. United’s misfiring Dutchman, Hull’s pair of strikers, a couple of Goodison Belgians, Cardiff’s new Spanish centre-half and Tottenham’s toils up top are all on our radar in the first of this week’s members articles:
A) Yaya / Silva / Hazard / Gerrard / Ki
Sturridge / Dzeko / Lukaku
OR
B) Yaya / Silva / Nolan / AJ / Ki
Sturridge / Suarez / Lukaku
?Open ControlsWow, that's not an easy choice. I would say B, no Suarez is worse than no Hazard, especially for the DGW.
Open Controls^ this
Open Controls
B as you need a good captain.
Open ControlsProb just A soley due to Hazard
Open ControlsGoing without Suarez is asking for a massive reaming.
Open Controls
Any thoughts guys? Any more hits needed? Already taken a -8....playing catch up big time!!!
Mannone (Boruc)
Williamson / Flanaghan / Coleman (Cahill / Vlaar)
Hazard / Yaya / Nolan / AJohnson (Noone)
Sturridge / Suarez / RVP
Currently got Suarez as captain.Open ControlsLooks good, no more changes needed.
Open Controls
I believe so but I fear every time he jumps.
Open Controls
Brendan Rodgers should be named Manager of the season if this goes on and with what he's managed to get out of Sterling, Herdson and Co is great for England
Open ControlsAgreed, he's making some average players look like world beaters at times.
Open ControlsIndeed. Very good manager.
Open ControlsI think he deserves manager of the year for sure. Just look how well Flanagan has naturally fitted into the side, Suarez defying the odds and never getting into silly bother to add to the list.
Open Controls
Start Snodgrass (SUN) OR Livermore (WBA, whu)
Snodgrass plays in RW & his team is currently in dog fight so expecting few goals against Sunderland. Livermore is far less attacking player compared to Snoddy, plays in CM but has the advantage of DGW.
Who should I start?Open ControlsLivermore...I think the Sun vs Nor is gonna be a goal less draw
Open ControlsNorwich at home. Surely will go for 3 points?
Open Controls
Tough one, Livermore (just) as he's not a Lucas - he does carry a threat.
Open ControlsCheers.
Open ControlsThats a tough call. What does Livermore offer really? Snodgrass is playing really well in an otherwise abject team. Whenever Norwich score he seems to be involved.
Open Controls
All set chaps?
MANNONE (Marshall)
COLEMAN, EVRA, DEMEL (Cahill, Ward)
SILVA, GERRARD, TOURE, Hazard (Noone)
SUAREZ, LUKAKU, STURRIDGE
Cheers!Open ControlsHey guys. Aprecciate ur help. Williamson and/or dummet are nailed? any other option for 4.5 def?
Open ControlsWhich would you prefer:
A - mata & chambers to silva Flanagan (-4 play azpi)
B - mata chambers & punch to silva Chester sterling (-8 bench azpi)Open ControlsLooks very good, not a fan of Lukaku but if you feel it, go for it. Good luck
Open Controlshow's this looking guys?
Hart
Baines Koscielny Davies
Yaya AJ Gerrard Rosicky
Suarez Lukaku Sturride
Needed a couple of differentials - rosicky, lukaku ( kinda)Open ControlsLooks kinda good. Hart is a little pricey though for what he offers don't you think?
Open ControlsHart is too expensive for me when you can get mannone? Rosicky is only short term as can't see him being a regular so be prepared to use a transfer on him in future
Open Controlsthought hart would get better returns with ful and mun...........mannone has nor and liv......
plan was to get rid of rosicky after the dgw once the other ars mfs are back from injury......
who would u suggest in place of rosicky for the dgw for 7.4 mil? besides Nolan.......Open ControlsAJ or Mirallas maybe
Open Controls
Januzaj could be a real differential in the DGW.
Open Controls1. Puncheon to Sterling.
2. Azpil to Coleman (I have Ivan and Baines)
1 leaves me with Ivan and Sterling for the DGW.
2 leaves me with Coleman and Snodgrass
What do we think chaps?Open ControlsDef 1
Open Controls
Mannone + one of Adrian/mcgregor
Open Controls
Morning lads. Pretty well set for this coming GW but have 3 different options I could do
A - the boring - M.Olsson to Chester
B - the standard - Snodgrass to Oxlade/A.J/Nolan
C - the risk - Jrod to Caroll/Dzeko.
Nice to have options. What do people think?Open ControlsAnyone else feel Gerrad's a tad overated? Penalties are pretty unreliable
Open ControlsYes, but the form, trickery & diving ability of SSS means plenty more are likely.
He'll also pop up with a few assists from open play and from corners/freekicks imo, and he is 100% nailed on for every game.Open Controls
RMWCT....(draft 5!)
Manonne
Baines, Distin, Williamson
Yaya, Silva, Gerrard, Nolan
Suarez, Sturridge, Lukaku
Gazzaniga, Terry, Chester, KiOpen ControlsLooks good. Play Chester over Williamson?
Open ControlsYeah, Williamson over Chester? I'm deciding to bring in one or the other for my draft league team to replace Evans. Giving me a headache! Otherwise, you look good to go.
Open Controls
Gerrard to Hazard Distin to Zabaleta Williamson to Flannagan.
Open ControlsMain issue with getting Zab is it leaves no spaces open for Aguero when he gets back.
Plan is to do Hazard -> Gerrard by GW33Open Controls
1. aguero > caroll (-4)
2. Keep aguero and hope he plays vs unitedOpen ControlsA word of advice.
If you're going to take a hit and at the same time you also want to fix the rest of your team with hits, I think this would be the best gameweek to do it. Teams with two games in a week are very likely to prosper. Of course, this will depend on the players you pick and then assess their worth.Open ControlsWould you play Fonte or risk Bruce who's not nailed as 3rd def for the dgw ?
(with Mannone+Baines+Coleman)Open ControlsLads 1FT don't mind a hit. 0M in the bank.
What would you do?
Adrian* Mannone
Baines* Ivanovic Chambers Ward Olsson
Mata* Silva* Haz Lallana Noone
SS* Lukaku*
Thinking Lallana out for a cheapie mid and upgrading Chambers to a decent defender. Anyone got any ideas?Open ControlsNolan & Flanagan?
Open ControlsBeen a while, LR. Can keep Mata, although I got him out for Gerrard as I lost my patience with him. Probably Lallana and Chambers out for Johnson and Chester. I mean, seeing as you don't have any more cash in bank.
Alternatively, Nolan is a great option too.Open Controls
Im going with my gut and ignoring both Yaya and Danny S. My gut is usually right* so who am I to disagree 🙂
*ignoring - Taarabt, HBA, Drenthe (c), TorresOpen ControlsRate my team please
mannone
coleman koscielnny terry

Open Controls
Assuming quite a lot of us already have Sturridge and Suarez, who's you third striker?
Open ControlsMorning chaps, my team's gone to shitsnacks lately, anyone care to help me with transfers? 1FT
MANNONE
COLLINS, COLEMAN, Cahill
YAYA, Hazard, Lallana, Snodgrass
STUDGE, AGUERO, SUAREZ
(Boruc, Olsson, Ward, Jedinak)Open ControlsLallana > Nolan
Open Controls
Do you think United will sack Moyes if we lose to Olympiacos & City?
Open Controlsthat would be hilarious.
Open Controls+1
Open Controls
No, he's there until the end of next year imo
Open ControlsNo, the owners must know what a generally poor and ageing team they have atm and that only SAF and a giant stroke of luck got them the title last year.
Open Controlsthey have previous for sacking managers in america
Open Controlshe has spent 70 mill so far. a lot more than rodgers had to play with in his first year at liverpool. and liverpool were far more mediocre to begin with. his tactics are more to blame than the players imo
Open ControlsI don't think Moyes can be trusted with rebuilding this team.
Open Controls
I highly doubt it. End of the season maybe (hopefully)
Open ControlsI hope so too!
Open Controls
I think we'll definitely give him another transfer window, but from then it just depends how bad things get.
Open Controls
Leon Osman punt anyone?
Open Controlsnope
Open Controls
- Open Controls
I needn't have bothered coming back. 🙂
