Guys,
Any suggestions on what to do with this?
McGregor boruc
Coleman vlaar MOlsson ward bardsley
Hazard caz Mata Nolan punch
Suarez sturridge lukaku
0.5 in the bank and 1 FTOpen ControlsWould just about any player look better if they played as a CAM? Fellaini, Lallana, Cabaye, Kagawa, Mata and Yaya all look like excellent prospects when playing as a CAM when compared to the wing or as a CM. Surely if you want to be your most impressive as a player, you need to play in that position and as such does that skew your actual ability? especially if you end up having to play elsewhere when you move clubs?
Open Controls#bringbackSAF
Open ControlsVery player and system dependent I think.
Lampard, absolute monster at CM with his late runs into the box.
Modric, just looks silly as a CAM, and is much better pulling strings at CM.Open Controlseven better at LM
Open Controls
Certain players definitely can't cut it at CAM. Ramsey and Dembele for example. Also Fellaini was positionally maybe playing where a CAM does but he wasn't behaving anything like what we expect from a CAM, they were just hoofing it straight onto his head like he was a striker like Andy Carroll.
Open ControlsBut I see your point, the closer you are to goal the more goal action you get and the better you look.
Never sign a player who impressed close to goal and play him deeper!Open ControlsThe point is, he looked good their which is why United bought him. Where's his actual ability was skewed somewhat because when he plays as a CM he doesn't look so good.
Open ControlsYep agreed.
Also, imagine Tim Cahill in central midfield 😆Open Controls
Out of topic. Thanks for your comments yesterday about no hits and playing Ivanovic & Hazard. 🙂
Open ControlsNo worries mate. I had Ivan, Azpi and Hazard. As it turns out I would have been better off playing Ollson and Snodgrass 😆 I'm happy though and I knew they would all do well.
Open Controls
Mata a hold?
Open ControlsSo what happened to Evra? Chances of him playing against City?
Open Controlsis Noone not nailed on now?
Open ControlsFailed fitness test.
Open Controlsthanks
Open Controls
Upvote! Never gets old.
Open ControlsThere are plenty of people that aren't nailed on.
Open Controls
Dear citizens,
A bit late as I was out celebrating the highest score of my season.
Just wanted to point out that Double Gameweeks can be misleading. Number of DGW players isn't what you should look for. Instead, look to play those who are going to score the highest points in the Gameweek.
Mutch obliged,
Captain HOpen ControlsTeam link in profile. This game isn't really complicated as people make it out to be.
Open Controlspretty sad that more than 150k people have more score than your "Dream Team"
Open Controls😆
Think about it.Open ControlsNope, genuinely can't find any indication of rank.
Open Controls1804 points might help.
Open Controls
Oh right 1800pts. For some reason thought that was his GW score
Open ControlsDamn thing is so confusing. Now I've worked out that they are all total scores. Bit slow here.
Open Controls
found a player whose score was 1805 pts in my mini league(his overall rank is 154,680)
1 greater than overall dream team score that is 1804 ptsOpen Controls
Took your time. 😉
Open ControlsThank you Captain Hindsight!
Open Controls
Just have a look at my team for next weekend. Not sure which DF to bench.
Gw 32
Mannone - (marshall)
ivanovic - coleman - EVRA - FONTE - (WARD)
hazard - LALLANA - GERRARD - yaya - (sissoko)
lukaku - SUAREZ - STURRIDGE
Also, would you keep Lallana or switch? He doesn't deliver much lately.
a) Lallana (NEW) -> Schurrle (cpl)
b) Lallana (NEW) -> Mirallas (ful)
c) Save FTOpen Controlswhat is the general safety score to avoid relegation
Norwich on 32 pts
I hope they survive
and West Brom,Cardiff and Fulham relegateOpen ControlsJust saw Yaya's third goal. Yowzah!! but casual
Open ControlsAfternoon DZ.
94 points so far for me.. good, decent or bad score over here? No Yaya 🙁Open ControlsFantastic without Yaya. 94(-4) though. Nice green arrow.
Open ControlsThanks man. Should've had another 6 from Evra. What the f**k happen to him??
Open Controls
very good score without yaya
and evra failOpen ControlsMata semi-fail too. 9.4 million wasted there.
Open Controls
85 for me and red arrows 🙁
No Yaya
Jelavic penalty miss!Open Controls
I have never owned Yaya Toure. This has killed me. Being a successful FPL manager is sometimes like being a whore. You don't look into someone's potential but you go with who delivers and is big.
Open ControlsEven if a man chops off your hand with a sword, you still have two nice, sharp bones to stick in his eyes
Open ControlsYaya is the FPL whore. Used too much by the casuals, that's why we ignore.
Open ControlsI went Silva as couldn't quite afford Yaya 🙁
Still hoping for big things from Silva in the derby...Open Controls
Why can't people either mention the hit they took or minus the hit from their score when posting scores? 😕
Open ControlsGood man 🙂
Open Controls
Had actually forgotten 'bout it. Usually i minus 'em.
Open ControlsJust a common theme today. Wasn't directed towards you.
Open Controls
Should be included in the community guidelines 😉
Open ControlsLooking good in FPL Open.
Open Controls
85 no hits, 2ft
Open ControlsNice without Yaya.
Open Controls
104(-4)
just noticed that this is my first gw score till now below 100k
but 3 days more days to goOpen Controls***100k gameweek rank
Open Controls
79 no hits. still hoping to come good haha
Open Controls
Was flying all day and night yesterday so missed all the fun. Just logged in and ecstatic to see 88pts on the board then total dismay at a red arrow. Looks to be a pretty awful score so far, what was the consensus on what's a decent return so far, 95?
Open ControlsGot 4 of 5 CS for the 1st time 😀
Ivan, Cahill, Baines, Dummet, ChesterOpen ControlsMirallas' 11 points are something for me to cheer on despite Evra no-show and below 100 score. Thank God i avoided the likes of Nolan & AJ for this DGW.
Open ControlsI wasn't so lucky- have had Nolan I my team for a while and kept the faith, however, still hopeful of better return from Nolan against Hull.
Open Controls
2nd best transfer this season.
Take a bow Sir Robert Snodgrass
0, 6, 6, 9Open ControlsAnyone on here not captain Suarez and still get a green arrow?
Open ControlsProbably a dead team with Yaya (c)
Open Controls
What 100K can buy you on WC
http://fantasy.premierleague.com/entry/3194985/event-history/31/Open ControlsGetting Dzeko in ended up being as bad as people warned me. Still got 87 (no Yaya). Hope he recovers of course but, hopefully, not before Tues so get Olsson's 7 off the bench...
Open ControlsCan't help but laugh at the amount of people that transfered in Gerrard.
1 point 😀Open Controls(me included)
Open ControlsDid it as protection.
Open ControlsAs a Sterling owner I was quite pleased that all the lol-ers ended up with the same score.
Open ControlsOne of the dumbest things I've ever read.
Open ControlsSo much this. Consistently top 5 mids in FPL. Every year.
Open Controls7 shots inside the box in the last 6 weeks and 4 of them were penalties. Just speaking the truth.
Open ControlsHe's the penalty taker for team that has gotten, and will continue to get, loads of penalties because of the attacking mentality and the players involved.
Have you been saying the same about Yaya?Open ControlsYou got it half right.
He is still an amazing option considering the amount of goals Pool are scoring, and he's on a lot of set pieces. PKs only tell half the story.
10 assists.Open ControlsI guess he's like a really expensive Noble. It does help that Liverpool score loads of goals though.
Open ControlsYour argument gets weaker by the minute.
Noble 3 assists. Gerrard 10.
Pool score 5x more goals than the Hammers, of course it helps....Open ControlsI give up.
6.4 ppg since Suarez returned says it all.Open ControlsBadaboom.
Open ControlsAnd how many were penalties? If he continues to get 2 penalties every 3 games till the end of the season then sure, I'll buy this argument. But how likely is that to happen? I don't think my argument is as outrageous as you make out.
Open ControlsIt doesn't matter how the points come.
Points are points. End of argument.
So many have said the same about Ramsey and Yaya's output this season, it only ends in tears.Open Controls
I got him for a hit
Open ControlsBut lallana had to go .should have got in silva instead
Open Controls
My mum is 21st in the world in UFPL 😀
Open ControlsMy reserves in UFPL: Ivan(7), Hazard(8), Azpi(7), Jones(5), Mutch(17)
Oh dear 😆
My bench isn't much better...Open ControlsJordan Mutch
wba, CRY, sou, STK, sun, new, CHE to end the season.
6g 6a and 3 double digit hauls thus far.
Worth investing in as a 4th mid? Can see some attacking output in those fixtures.Open ControlsDunno about a play every week 4th mid, but he's far and away the best cheap mid option.
Open ControlsI have Puncheon and really torn whether to sell him for Mutch or to hold. Punch has a dgw coming up but his returns have dried up. On the other hand, I'm not too sure whether Mutch is nailed on!
Open Controls
Transferred Olssen for Bardsley before this gameweek and had Ivanovic and Snodgrass on my bench. Fail!
Open Controls- Open Controls
Chin up. Still lots of games to be played.
Plus, 2 more DGWs.Open Controls
I think DGWs have to be approached with caution.
Yes the obvious players like Suarez, Sturridge, Rooney, Yaya, etc. can be bought without fear, but it doesn't apply to everyone.
Take AJ for example.
3 DGWs coming up
This week: nor, liv
GW34: EVE, mci
GW37: mun, WBA
Tbh I wouldn't expect anything more than 1-2pts from the mci and mun games, so essentially those are both single gameweeks (in my mind at least).
Plus on top of that, Sunderland have scored 1 goal in their last 4 league games..
So just a heads up that everyone should take a hard close look at the fixtures, before going hit crazy for the next DGWs, especially for players who have little opportunity to regain the points you spend.Open ControlsMannone is fine. His team's lack of defensive ability allows him to make plenty of saves, as he;s a great shot stopper.
Talking mainly about attackers (who play for teams who struggle to score)
So falling into this category: Sunderland, Palace, West Brom (for future DGWs)Open Controls
