Last week’s runaway winner of the Captain Poll, Luis Suarez delivered yet again with 25 points accrued over Liverpool’s pair of fixtures against Cardiff and Sunderland. The Uruguayan was usurped by Yaya Toure, though, with the City midfielder ending Gameweek 31 as the top scoring player on 31 points – surprisingly, in spite of his outstanding season, you have to go all the way back to Gameweek 17 to find the last time Suarez finished top-scoring player in any round of matches:
