There’s bad news and good news. Maybe. The bad news is that there’s no ScoutCast scheduled for this week. On the flipside, that’s because we’ve decided to take on a new approach which offers a new way to “enjoy” the weekly get-together with myself, Granville and any guests we persuade/cajole into joining us on air.

The ScoutCast is going live.

From next week we will be using Google Hangouts to stream the ScoutCast recording live. You’ll be able to tune in to the session and have the pleasure of seeing Granville and myself in our humble abodes and you’ll be able to interact live with us, during the recording, with Jonty joining us to fire us your questions and reactions.

If you can’t join us on the night, you’ll be able to download or view the ScoutCast Hangout shortly after the recording and, as usual, we’ll be publishing an edited version, in the usual mp3 format as a podcast, on Thursday evenings.

It will take time for us to adjust to this brave new world. The live stream will expose us, warts and all, to you the listener/viewer, but that’s a risk we’re prepared to take to improve interactivity and take the ScoutCast forward. Besides, with my current rank, I’m at rock bottom with nothing to lose.

Jonty will be setting up Hot Topics and a Twitter hashtag and, when our new live comments system is up and running (it’s looking good by the way), we’ll be embedding the live stream in this and you’ll be able to interact with us in real-time.

As well as Jonty’s return, we’ll be trying to bring in special guests on a weekly basis and we’ve already lined up the first victim for the opening show.

We’ll bring you more details on all this in the days to come and, if you want to be kept in the loop and get involved on the night, we recommend that you follow us on Google+ or Twitter to get the latest news and subscribe to our new YouTube channel, where all our ScoutCasts will be published from here on in.

If all goes to plan, we’ll see you, or rather, you’ll being seeing us, next Wednesday evening.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Gerrard is showing as the tenth most transferred in player today.

      Keeping.

My 3 City are Kun Yoyo Demi. If Pele says tomorrow Kun is ruled out I might sell for City mid probably Nasri. I want him as my differential in the SAFC game. he will explode then... BTW please don't tell me you are worried about his price falling. Come oooonnn

Really torn. Looking at a swap for Nasri too, though originally I was going to get Aguero in for Sturridge. Now I'm thinking I shouldn't be selling a player I know to be fit.

feeling punty and it wouldn't be bizarre for Everton to get two cleansheets this weekend..that alone would be 24 points, not including any baps/goals/assists

yeah that's the only thing I'm still hung up on, pretty solid on the rest though a part of me doesn't want to bring iN Coleman only to ship him a week or two later..then the other part of me says that 8-12 points could soften the blow

I do agree, which is why I'm somewhat hesitant to bring in Coleman for Zaba this week, but unless Yaya is well and truly crocked, it's gotta be Zaba or Nasri out to get Aguero in

I think Everton is a dead end but see the problem with Aguero. As a more cautious manager, I'd keep Zaba and the two mids rather than gamble but if you have to transfer him out for Aguero, get a season keeper. Kaboul is great value.

Most say never take a hit for a defender, so surely the same would apply when it comes to captaining one? Just throwing it out there 🙂

    I got this team

    Mannone (Gazzinga)
Terry - Coleman - Baines (Chester, Bruce)
Eriksen - Silva - Nasri - Yaya (Ki)
    Suares - Sturridge - Lukaku

    1ft and 1.2m

With Terry now being doubtful and given that neither Chester or Bruce does not play this gw. Should i transfer one of them out? Unless Terry is confirmed fit of course.

    A : Save transfer
    B : Bruce --> Dann
    C : Something else

OK guys, pls help me on decision whether to do STudge -> Aguero or Gerrard -> Nasri.

What score do you predict for each of said four over GW34 and GW35?
    My own prediciton;

    GW34:
    Sturridge 6
    Aguero 2 + 10 = 12
    Nasri 10
    Gerrard 2

    GW35
    Sturridge 12
    Aguero 15
Gerrard 0 (think he'll get a card against City)
    Nasri 3

I'd say expected points haul this GW is the same - but big difference is you'll want Aguero for the run-in. But you could always wait until GW35 getting him.

Leaving alone the overtime and 11 vs 9, it could have been 8-0 in regular time anyway. Shocking Basel defence.

I have a different take on it. I think that the team news has become too much "speculation". For example, claiming that Dzeko won't start is speculation at best and reckless at worst, if people are basing transfer decisions on it.

I just read this as; Demi hasn't predicted my player to start this week, can't be right!

I haven't mentioned that Dzeko won't start here. http://i.imgur.com/AKEBAPb.png Just a prediction, nothing more and nothing less. If i left Aguero out, it would also be speculation.

I haven't got Dzeko. I am not planning to get him either.

I am just looking at the form of Dzeko and can't see how he would be dropped.

You may be right I suppose, you seem to have a pretty good record

Fair enough. And yeah the forum seems to be split on that. Most fancy Dzeko to start with his form as you've stated. But alot also think Aguero will be straight in for Dzeko. We'll find out on Sunday i guess.

A tad critical, he has to make some prediction, his quote "Sergio Aguero has returned to full training and will be in contention for a starting berth, either alongside Edin Dzeko in a 4-2-2-2 or in place of the Bosnian as the lone striker" leaves it open to people to make their own decision.

    Any ideas? 2 FT's, 0.2 ITB

    Mannone
    Coleman - Distin - Azpi
    Hazard - Yaya - Silva - AJ
    Lukaku - Suarez - Sturridge

    Adrian - Noone - Olsson - Chambers

Hazard > Nasri and save the other FT? Cheers 🙂
