Guys should I make a bunch of moves for -4 or -8 pts even before I know how this week's finished up?

It doesn't hurt to form an idea of what you want to do, but probably hold off pulling the trigger as long as possible. Late transfers are as prone to kneejerking as early moves. Depends what's at risk for you.

The point being, asking what transfers to pull off for next week before this one's done is ridiculous.

        NO one knows!

No one knows what? We have the fixtures, most of the players in question have already played their games. I can't see that it hurts to start planning your moves on a sunday night (as it is here in the southern hemisphere).

To fail to plan is to plan to fail, right?

Spoiler alert: the week will go Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, then there will be a Thursday, followed by a Friday and then a weekend with a bunch of games in. I appreciate this may be news to you, but the fixtures for the entire rest of the season are already laid out for us... we're just waiting on injury news. You can plan a -16 transfer batch without finalising it.

How do you plan holidays? Do you just wait and see what the weather's doing on your week off before you decide what to pack and where to go?

    Ideas on this lot?

    Mannone / Boruc
    Coleman / Chambers / Ward / Olsson / Ivanovic
Mata / Ramsey / Noone / Eriksen / Yaya Touré
    Suárez / Agüero / Rooney

1 FT, £0.7m in the bank.

Time to get rid of Noone & a defender for a hit?

Been out of the loop for the last week.

I could risk it with Delph, but at most, I'd say his ceiling is 10pts, more likely to get 4-5pts...

    EVRA VS JONES

Most of you will be looking for a United defender for their double to follow. This argument will make your job a whole lot easier. I am not taking into account Vidic and Ferdinand as I feel that the old stalwarts might not be able to play two games back to back.

-Jones is the more versatile of the two and can play in central midfield, central defence and as a right back
-However, I reckon that with Giggs' preference for academy graduates and experience coupled with the fact that all Carrick,Fletcher and Cleverley are fit means that Jones is unlikely to play in central midfield
-Rafael can be back anytime soon, and despite the fact that Jones seems to have overtaken Smalling in the pecking order for the right back position, he may still have competition in making the position his own
-Even if Vidic and Ferdinand dont play both the games, Jones will have to compete with Evans and Smalling for the central defender spot
-Evra,on the other hand seems completely nailed on with no competition whatsoever with Buttner not even in the squad last night

People might still disregard my reasoning and get Jones over Evra based on him getting more points than Evra last night. But Evra could have had an assist himself if Ruddy hadn't pulled off that brilliant save for Rooney. Fantasy football is a funny game.

Is Sunderland also fighting for their lives and just won/drew Chelsea/MC? MU has nothing to fight for except pride, you can't rule out the chance Evra could be rested in mid-week when the WC is on horizon while the two matches are only 3 days apart for MU. In contrary, MC need to win every matches to be the champ, no room to rotate (except LB position).

Just that Gerrard looks captain material for the final game-week of the season and you`d want him back against Newcastle. Probably Pool in the final day will go after the most goals scored record in a PL season held by Chelsea (is it 106 goals?).

        103 goals.

Liverpool are now 96. Their next two are good defending side though.

        Chelsea

I think so. They need 8 goals to beat it.

If they get 2 goals tonight, it'll be very likely.

Why is he captain material if all of his points are only coming from set pieces/penalties etc? disagree with that. I'd rather have sterling over gerrard any day

Yep. I feel Gerrard's attacking returns are very random to come.

He had zero chance and key pass against Norwich last week.

Pool get a PK almost every game and Gerrard sitting on 13 goals and 11 assists in around 29 games for the season, playing a defensive midfielder role is an amazing stat. PK, corners, indirect free kicks + plus some direct free kicks in his locker. Sorry, but I`d take Gerrard over Sterling any day.

Your back line looks decent now. Is Demichelis necessary buy for this Gwk?

If you need Yaya, can you just do B and get him?

Nice one Jonty. Our seasons seem to be following a pretty similar pattern. I leapt up from 1.2k to 550th yesterday with 45 and no hit.

Also like me, you are trying to make your first top 1k finish. I have missed out twice previously in final GWs, so determined to make it this time.

If you have Nasri, it doesn't seem necessary to get in Yaya as well, and who would you drop, unless it was Nasri himself, as the rest of your mids are great.

I assume you are selling Baines this week for a Man U def? And nice to see a fellow manager allowing Noone to rot away on their bench until the end.

      Sticking with Bony here.
Transferring out Coleman, baker, lukaku, McCarthy, Livermore though. Problem is bringing in Suarez and two Chelsea defenders

Rooney (c) was great so no changing there.
Not sure if I should start Suarez or Sturridge (if fit). I just have a feeling if both plays Suarez would be handcuff by the Chelsea defense and Sturridge could be the free guy.

A good day for me. Only dropped from 112th to 155th, despite taking out a double loan for two weeks (-14 for Silva and Haz to Mata and Ramsey).

Captained Mata as well, so that will stay. I still have 6 to play with an adjusted total of 48 for this week after substitutions. Aiming for top 100 by the end of the GW.

This is one of my fears though I read somewhere that Giggs is trying to lure Evra to sign a contract extention (maybe for a year longer) and thus he would play every single game.

No one is safe. I would avoid man utd defenders like the plague.

When considering dgw players next week, also keep an eye on the final game of the season for two fixtures where teams will get spanked:

Man city v wet spam (4.0)
