The Dugout Discussion kicks into gear for five more fixtures of our penultimate gameweek. unfortunately today’s television broadcasts are aimed in the direction of the only two games with “nothing left to play for” (don’t blame them too much, they have to make these commitments months in advance).

Later today Arsenal will have their final home game of another barren season versus Aston Villa for our viewing pleasure. Elsewhere in the four o’clock kick-offs Liverpool and Spurs will jostle for fifth place and a spot in the Europa league, West Ham travel to Wigan needing a victory for any faint hope of survival this year. That may not even be enough, if Birmingham can get just a point at home to Fulham at the same time then The Hammers are Championship bound.

But first we’ve got Chelsea playing host to Newcastle in a dead rubber fixture. Ancelotti keeps his word and Torres starts (alongside Nicolas Anelka and Yossi Benayoun) with Josh McEachran, Alex and Ramires also coming in. Alan Pardew keeps to his word and rests Cheikh Tiote for the remainder of the season to avoid a record 15 yellow cards and 3 game ban. Line-ups in full are…

  He's made my mini league a lot closer then it should have been. Thought Birmingham would have put up a bit more fight at home though.

      I predicted a narrow Birmingham win hence I put Hangeland on my bench. Although he's coming on for Djourou I still feel I made the right decision putting him on the bench. No one could have predicted two goals from him.

Laughably broke into the top 50k for the first time this season, thanks to Zog(c). Anyone else had an absolute nightmare of a season? My low point was dropping to 700k around Xmas. I would have just left the team to rot, if it wasn't for being in a money league with people who seemingly know nothing about football (somehow currently 1st in that). Seriously need to get my FPL hat back on next season.

i have a bad feeling balotelli will do well on tues night (he's on my bench)

Anyone else got the same feeling? The player has so much quality, I feel like I've been shortchanged with his measly returns in the last 3 gameweeks since I bought him and it would be typical for him to get a hat trick from my bench.

Next year I can see him being a key figure in fantasy football teams...

All these people complaining about hangeland and the 'incredible fluke" are deluded.

Hangeland has been one of the best , underrated defenders in the league. Everyone been raving about coleman, lois and kolorov , yet Hangeland been a genuine goal threat the whole time.

Fourth time this season he has picked up double figure points and twice in last four so it hasnt come totally out of the blue
