Sky Sports Fantasy Football 2014/15 Is Now Live

As some of you may already know, the Sky Sports Fantasy Football game for 2014/15 opened its doors earlier today. With a lull in the World Cup action, Fantasy managers are afforded our first chance to dabble in domestic issues as we tentatively cobble together our initial teams for the season ahead:

The Sky Sports game is one that we’ve covered in the past, with our Members area including the relevant bonus point recipients across the positions.

After winning the Best League for each of the last couple of campaigns, we’re looking forward to defending our title once again. The winner of last season’s Scout League picked up £1,000 for their achievements and we’re hoping to offer prizes for whoever finishes at the summit once again.

We’ll be re-starting our official league soon and will be rolling out a series of articles over the next couple of weeks, looking at the Player List and analysing the best tactical approaches. Regular contributor d1sable will be on board once again to give his hints and tips every Friday afternoon – having finished inside the top 10 last year, he’s clearly a man worth listening to.

        you can have a captain for each day of the gameweek if you wish

        you get one captain swap but you can transfer your captain so could do something like:

        16th 17th 18th
        RVP(c) ---> Captain Swap to Aguero(c) --->> transfer Aguero to Studge (C)

              You need to plan it around who and when they play following week. You don't want to waste transfer to get Sunday captain in if they play following Monday and you then need to sell them again and buy back

              yep all 3 would and some times you could have a captain play sat sun tues and weds, the thing is you dont want to make that a habit as you will run out of transfers fast.

              Best way is to use your captain swap from sat to a player playing sunday who then plays again on Sat so you can repeat the cycle.

              Well this season 3-4-3 is available for the first time so that is something to consider although with budget restraints looks tough.

              3-5-2 has historically always been the best formation due to the way Motm and bonus points favour mids and i don't see that changing really

            Couple Questions:

            Any else have a feeling that Brazil will look to completely shackle James R and close him down all game? I just get the feeling that they will try and give this guy absolutely no room to breathe considering the tournament he has had so far. Also opinions on David Luiz, is he too costly since there are other CB's who are much cheaper and have a good chance of scoring high? It just seems he has been really consistent throughout, even though -9 last game for his CS and Goal he would not really have scored that well. What do you all think?
