With so many of you seeking advice on their teams before August 16, we thought it would prudent to run a daily community article to provide a dedicated focus for “Rate My Team” (RMT) requests.

Each day ahead of the new season, we’ll select one of the Fantasy Football Scout team and post up their own RMT request to open up discussion and encourage others to post their own. We’ll turn the comments over to you to provide a useful place for those seeking advice and highlight some of the key decisions under deliberation.

Please nudge those posting RMTs in other articles to visit this daily RMT article. Also, when posting requests, please remember to be courteous to those who take the time to help out. Equally, if you’re an experienced Fantasy manager with some views on initial line-ups, take time out to dip in and contribute – the Fantasy Football Scout team will be doing their upmost to offer their feedback as the discussion develops throughout the day.

Azpilicueta – Evans – van Aanholt – (Wisdom – Bartley)
Mata – Fabregas – Ramsey – Sterling – Sigurdsson
Rooney – Costa – (Zamora)

Roscola admits his team has a major flaw in that it is potentially benchless. He says though that he’s happy for QPR striker Bobby Zamora never to play, because this is a 3-5-2 that reverts to four at the back for first sub. He believes that there are more points available in the budget bracket in defence than further upfield. Sticking with this basic strategy he is looking for advice to find extra funds to invest in his bench. Downgrading Chelsea’s Cesc Fabregas to Manchester City’s Samir Nasri is one option he is considering.

        Im just going on style of player.pellegrini tried negredo and dzeko last year and it didnt work as they both ocupied similar space.so i think he will almost pair them up.if jovetic starts like a train this could change.x

  Too much on keepers for my liking. Bruce unlikely to play, consider Hutton as another 4m pick perhaps.
  
  I think Siggy might flop personally so I'm going for Henderson, but that's personal preference. Rest of team is good.

      Thanks, I did have giroud and dzeko in an earlier draft but didn't feel that confident in it. I'll have a tinker. Sunderland look set on getting rid of wickham because he's stalling and, if he stays fit, i felt fletcher could be a worthwhile punt.

-i know chambers will only play 1 maybe 2 games but hopefully cash to be made from him

  I definitely don't trust Chambers to start once Mertesacker's back.
  
  Great front line but I'd avoid Marney and Elliot at the back. Just too much budget.

Thinking about swapping Davies to Wisdom and upgrading Elmohamady to Siggy but wary that Wisdom may not play and pretty confident in how rubbish Danny Rose is.

Also worried about Fab starting deep or not at all - thinking about Silva instead. Thoughts?

  You planning to sub Chambers out early doors? He's a good pick for the first few games but then you'll likely need to hook him out.
  
  Not sure on the Coutinho pick, was quite anonymous last season and think he could fade further with tricky fixtures and then Europe. Try to get Sterling instead by downgrading one of your keepers?
  
  Albrighton is injured so I'd swap him out. Otherwise very good.

      Only .5 difference. I'd downgrade one of Foster/Krul for a 4m keeper and there you have it. In my own team I've gone for the unoriginal Krul/Elliot combo. They should do ok and I think you'll make up the difference with Sterling's extra points over Coutinho's.

    Cheers for the comments. I've always gone for a cheap defence and it works well I think. As my team value grows I can consider upgrading defence if required.
    
    I'm going Haz for safety and because downgrading is easier than vice versa. Nervous though as Haz has been poor for a few months now!

    Who have you gone for at the back?
    
    Not convinced on Sigurdsson as I think Swansea might really struggle this season and Henderson actually did pretty well last year, under the radar. Bojan I simply haven't seen enough on. I've toyed with putting him in but it's based entirely on the bandwagon from here whereas Dzeko is pretty tried and tested.

  Liking it - particularly the Coutinho punt which is a flair more that could really pay off. Hugely frustrating player but he's surely got to improve on last season this time around. Not sure on Naismith - you ideally want a bench player who will at least get you a couple of points when you need him - not sure that Naismith is that player. The same applies to Bruce and Wisdom - both could be starved of minutes in the mid-term and start dropping in value.

  Lovren I'm not sure on. I know he scored in preseason but Liverpool were leaky at the back last year and have tough opening fixtures. Maybe get a United defender in given the kind fixtures and relative vfm.
  
  Agree the double stoke defence is risky. How about a Palace defender like Ward instead? Could then upgrade Naismith or one of the 4m defenders.

  Not sure on both Lovren and Debuchy early on given their fixtures - one of those two is fair enough but they both may struggle for early cleanies. I'd consider swapping one for Caulker or Davies is you can use the 0.5 elsewhere - both that pair have goal threat and decent fixtures initially. Strong elsewhere, I've toyed with all those players.
