With so many of you seeking advice on their teams before August 16, we thought it would prudent to run a daily community article to provide a dedicated focus for “Rate My Team” (RMT) requests.

Each day ahead of the new season, we’ll select one of the Fantasy Football Scout team and post up their own RMT request to open up discussion and encourage others to post their own. We’ll turn the comments over to you to provide a useful place for those seeking advice and highlight some of the key decisions under deliberation.

Please nudge those posting RMTs in other articles to visit this daily RMT article. Also, when posting requests, please remember to be courteous to those who take the time to help out. Equally, if you’re an experienced Fantasy manager with some views on initial line-ups, take time out to dip in and contribute – the Fantasy Football Scout team will be doing their upmost to offer their feedback as the discussion develops throughout the day.

Begovic – (Gilks)
Azpilicueta – Evans – van Aanholt – (Wisdom – Bartley)
Mata – Fabregas – Ramsey – Sterling – Sigurdsson
Rooney – Costa – (Zamora)

Roscola admits his team has a major flaw in that it is potentially benchless. He says though that he’s happy for QPR striker Bobby Zamora never to play, because this is a 3-5-2 that reverts to four at the back for first sub. He believes that there are more points available in the budget bracket in defence than further upfield. Sticking with this basic strategy he is looking for advice to find extra funds to invest in his bench. Downgrading Chelsea’s Cesc Fabregas to Manchester City’s Samir Nasri is one option he is considering.

Foster (Krul)
Caulker, Chambers, Louvren (Trippier, Hiadara)
Ramsey, Snograss, Hazard, Hoilett (Sugurdsson)
Giroud, Rooney, Sturridge

Keepers rotate perfectly (Foster has acceptable fixtures the 5 weeks between now & Christmas Krul has awkward ones, GW1, 25/10, 1/11, 6/12, 13/12)
I can get 3 defenders with reasonable fixtures each week from these (once Metresacker is back, probable be Wisdom & Clyne in for him & Hiadara - hopefully Chambers will increase by 0.2 first)
I think I can play 2 of Snoddy, Siggy & Hoilett, each week while Hoilett plays "in the hole"

  I'd downgrade giroud as ramsey will score as much if not more, upgrade snodgrass to Fabregas/Eriksen.

After GW1 : Chambers --> Ward

Fletcher is my personal punt, and with Siggy and Arnautovic I can play 3-5-2 or 3-4-3, with no problem.

This is my first draft without any Chelsea player, but the problem is that I am afraid that I would choose the wrong one (Costa vs Hazard vs Fabregas). Hazard would be my pick, but his lack of fitness worries me.

    I know I miss Hazard, Fabregas, Costa... but I believe Sturridge > Costa, so that leaves me with the mid. As I explained, I want Hazard later on, but I dont think he is 100% ready for the start of the season. Also... is he on penalties?
    
    Shaw will play for sure, but I have time to make a change to Evans. United is the first time to play, so we will know the lineups before deadline. 😉

Looking very strong, just check Ben Davies is nailed on if possible. Rose has played equal number of minutes. Apart from that I can't see any flaws.

    I would agree with this. Its very good otherwise. Nice defence but I'm still wary of Davies starts. I currently have him in my team but I'd like to know that he would be starting before the season starts

      Kaboul over Davies, if the BAPS work out the same way as last year and favour CBs, then Kaboul could do better. Davies was never prolific going forward for Swansea.

  As above, Kaboul over Davies for me. Arsenal or Man Utd defence looks better than Liverpool for me, especially with City and Spurs away in the first 3 games. Chelsea defender over Kolarov is the safe option for now, but if Kolarov plays 38 games this year you'll never hear the word "Baines" again. Could be worth the risk

        Well I guess its down to how much you trust it! If your into stats and numbers then you would like the benefits the membership gives. For me anyway if I see on the RMT that say Rooney has an estimated 6 points and Hazard has only 4, then that would confirm my opinion that Rooney would be the one to captain for that gameweek. Obviously your still the one with the final decision to make but the stats really help along the way! And not just for the RMT tool. The comparison tool, extra members articles etc all add up like.

  Pretty sure Moore will start next to Morgan. So i'd drop Wisdom as they have Gamboa now. Bartley needs replacing.
  Personally too many weak links. maybe drop Costa for Bony/Dzeko/Jovetic. with spare cash, upgrade bartley & davies. Marney could be swapped too.

    Nor am I tbh but I cant see how I can improve it with no money to play with. Would love to bring in Sterling but Coutinho is potentially a differential. A goal and an assist against Dortmund isnt too shabby though.

  like it, especially the mutch differential. Very solid. I'd personally have Evans in ahead of Jones, who never gets booked and is far less rash. But it's a fine team. Please rate mine below!

  Good balance I reckon. Although I would be tempted to downgrade Cahill and used the extra 0.5 or 1m to upgrade one def and maybe eriksen. Solid though, would be happy to go into GW1 with that team.

  I like it. I have 6 of the same mid and for. Defence looks a little weak though. I assume Ward, Taylor & Baird rotate well enough to get 1 or 2 each week? Not convinced Baird will start each week

    I think Baird is a bit of undiscovered gem. He's played the last three games preseason in central mid and is only 4m??? He may not stay there long term, but with Brom's injury problems he will start the season and he can hit them from distance.
    
    Granted he will still sit on my bench for 66% of all games but...

  I like this team, i personally went with a QPR def to rotate with Ward. I think Giroud is great value but not many agree...

Hi Guys

Could I get a RMT for the first time guys?

I'm Keeping 0.5 in the bank in case I need to do a switch out to a 8.5 striker or mess with the midfield.

  Few too many risks there for me. Mannone will he be fist choice? Cameron, will he start the season? Ferdinand, will he be collecting his pension? Ashley Young, er, being Ashley Young. I think the balance in the side is good but the wrong players. I'd probably downgrade Jov to a more budget striker to really bolster that midfield with a fab, an eriksen or a silva/nasri.

    Cheers mate, is this a little better? Any Suggestion for replacment of Cameron?
    
    Ill easilly be able to switch Mannone for Pants if hes not selected and with the good home away switch up between Sunderland and Newcastle I think its a good pairing.
    
    I like how Young is doing pre season and can easilly swap him out as time goes on.

  Not sure about Jov or Nasri long term but these are easily transferred out and I like this team for the opening few weeks
