With so many of you seeking advice on their teams before August 16, we thought it would be prudent to run a daily community article to provide a dedicated focus for “Rate My Team” (RMT) requests.

Each day ahead of the new season, we’ll select one of the Fantasy Football Scout team and post up their own RMT request to open up discussion and encourage others to post their own. We’ll turn the comments over to you to provide a useful place for those seeking advice and highlight some of the key decisions under deliberation.

Please nudge those posting RMTs in other articles to visit this daily RMT article. Also, when posting requests, please remember to be courteous to those who take the time to help out. Equally, if you’re an experienced Fantasy manager with some views on initial line-ups, take time out to dip in and contribute – the Fantasy Football Scout team will be doing their upmost to offer their feedback as the discussion develops throughout the day.

The next Fantasy Premier League RMT contender is Alex Bowers, the winner of the Ultimate Fantasy Premier League Beta version 2013/14.

Krul (Foster)
Shaw – Lovren – Cameron (Davies, N Taylor)
De Jong – Lamela – Mata – Sterling (Sigurdsson)
Rooney – Costa – Austin

Alex is not thrilled about having Gylfi Sigurdsson on the bench for the first Gameweek so he is open to alternative suggestions for his fifth midfield slot. He is adopting a wait-and-see aproach regarding Chelsea midfielders, Arsenal and Manchester City. Is he right to wait?

Feel free to get stuck in with your feedback. We look forward to scanning your RMTs throughout the day on this article.

I'm working on a team with flexible formations, so perhaps the opportunity to avail a 4-4-2 or 3-5-2 from time to time vs the 3-4-3. Any RMT suggestions/ratings?

    Speroni / Mannone
    Debuchy / Jagielka / Lovren / Rosenior / Moore
    Mata / Fabregas / Sterling / Ramsey / Mutch
    Rooney / Adebayor / Bojan

Am I missing out on a ManU defender? Should I move Fabregas/Mutch into Eriksen/Siggy, take the extra .5 and bump Bojan into Wickham or Austin? Or just take the .5 and get a 5.5 keeper... I could go for days, not to mention the Dzeko/Bony/Giroud conundrum. Yikes.

    Many thanks.

I would be tempted to go with Speroni as your only keeper for a few weeks. Do be aware some on here dont think hes nailed on? Begovic may be better.

Jag is overpriced in my opinion. Debuchy and Lovren nice so get Ntaylor from Swansea over Jag.

That has saved you 1.5? .5 on Mutch to Siggy if you want and .5 on Bojan to Austin. Save .5?

would appreciate any RMTs , please fell free to criticize, pick apart or even praise this if you could.

    -----------------DDG/ Elliot---------------
    LOVREN/ Chambers/ HUTTON/ NTaylor/ Wisdom
    ----ERIKSSON/ Hazard/ Mata/ Ramsey/ 4.5------
    ----------Rooney/ Costa/ Austin-------------

    Rambling thoughts-
    Leaves .5 so
-Chambers can become Marriapa/Kelly, wait to see whoever gets the starts
    - 4.0 to a 4.5 (Stoke?) who nails a spot. This line up gives me a bit of time to see
    - Lovren not the best fixtures but worried about Chelsea line up. Lovren easy to upgrade to 6.0 Chelsea later or downgrade to enable Eriksson to Silva. Dont see massive value in 5m defenders and 5.5 ones aside from Man u
    - Team 4 weeks in will not have both Hutton and Wisdom. Bartley will be an option if Swansea dont sign another CB

Any input positive or negative appreciated
    Thanks

Front 8 gets the thumbs up from me . Not too many issues, so long as you stick to your plans. Keep in mind, the frantic unpredictability of early season action is likely to disrupt even the best-laid pre- season plans, as a particular player becomes an immediate must-have and other transfers become priorities. For that reason, I'd perhaps advise that you pick 1-2 more nailed on options at the back, in case other transfer requirements force you away from your plans.

On the whole though - looks good - good luck!

Cheers mate. Totally agree with not making long term plans. One injury or player on a hot streak = transfers. If it becomes clearer on Stokes back 4 and CP's back 4 during this week i will get them in place

    Begovic (Gilks)
    Terry Chambers Ferdinand (Ward PVA)
Ramsey Mata Sterling Eriksen (S. Davis)

    0.5 ITB

Early Morning RMT if you could lads (& lasses) 🙂

    Foster (Gilks)
    Chester, Chambers, Jones (Hutton, Wisdom)
Ramsey (V), Eriksen, Mata, Fabregas (Wanyama)
    Rooney (C), Costa, Dzeko

Dzeko covers my lack of MC Def/Mid, heavy on the MUFC w/ the early fixtures. Could possibly swap Fab for Sterling (if I can find the 0.5) to cover L'pool attack. I am open to swap Eriksen if any think it's worth downgrading him and investing more in the bench?

Out of 10 would be fanttassstic 🙂

Is it worthwhile having 2 Chelsea attackers ? Alot of people (me included) has Hazard and Costa.

Their not a team full of points are they ? Unlike Liverpool as i remember they went nuts against a few good sides.

But then Hazard would be the one i keep and would have to raise more funds for Sturridge

Sturridge will not make points like last season, there is no Suarez to take away the defenders, he can't do it alone, and Dzeko is not on his top form, if you have funds go for Costa/Jovetic/Henderson
Costa - great midfield behind him, they will feed him with the goals, and if he is not a dumbass like Torres he will score
Jovetic - There are no other fit players to play so he is nailed on
Henderson - I looked a few Liverpool games and Henderson really impressed me, If he keeps his position in first squad he can make much points
