With so many of you seeking advice on their teams before August 16, we thought it would be prudent to run a daily community article to provide a dedicated focus for “Rate My Team” (RMT) requests.

Each day ahead of the new season, we’ll select one of the Fantasy Football Scout team and post up their own RMT request to open up discussion and encourage others to post their own. We’ll turn the comments over to you to provide a useful place for those seeking advice and highlight some of the key decisions under deliberation.

Please nudge those posting RMTs in other articles to visit this daily RMT article. Also, when posting requests, please remember to be courteous to those who take the time to help out. Equally, if you’re an experienced Fantasy manager with some views on initial line-ups, take time out to dip in and contribute – the Fantasy Football Scout team will be doing their upmost to offer their feedback as the discussion develops throughout the day.

Green Windmill is keeping 1.0 in the bank to address any issue that may arise from the first week’s games or for a rainy day. Is he right to keep this back? He is also open to suggestions to improve his bench and wonders whether Chelsea midfielder Eden Hazard may be a risk given his reduced pre-season. Could his team mate Cesc Fabregas be a better choice?

My worries are, who will be most likely to start between WIlson and Cameron? Is Van Aanholt still carrying a knock? Have a great feeling about Lamela this season, go with him over Eriksen? Jovetic as my 3rd striker or find the extra 0.5M for Dzeko/Giroud?

  It appears you're a gunner but think Sanchez and Giroud to start the season might be much considering their tough start to the season. Siggy and Bojan rotate H/A very nicely so maybe downgrade Giroud and upgrade your 4.5 if you want to go that route

  I think I'd go with Ramsey instead of Sanchez and use the extra money for a better third defender. Team looks good in general though.

    Hmm, maybe could be a good option but i generally play with 2 more expensive defenders and then try to sneak in a cs from any of the other 3 which have proven to be a good tactic this far.

    Pretty simple switch though if Pantilmon is the prefered option and could go with Krul for a while. Any other good options for 4.5?
    
    Thinking about getting in Pelle for Bojan and could do this by doing Hazard -> Eriksen for example

  Luis not nailed, but cheapest way into Chelski defence.
  Chambers is only good for a week or two most say, not nailed down in the lineup.
  Jelavic isn't a great prospect even with Long leaving. Plus European football for Hull.

  I think no one knows if luis or davies starts GW1 so an idea could be to make sure your money counts and with Terry/Cahill. I don't mind jelavic in a rotation if possible. If all your players start I think I'd give 8/10

Thinking of:

DeGea/Hamer
Terry/Bardsley/N.Taylor/Collocini/Bruce
Mata/Fabregas/Ramsey/Siggy/Henderson
Rooney/Costa/Austin

GK: Play DeGea every week. Hamer has low ownership so less fear of a price drop.
DEF: Terry the 'big hitter'. Stoke/Swansea and Newcastle/Hull rotate perfectly for first 6 weeks. Bruce slightly risky but going to chance him.
MID: First 3 speak for themselves. Siggy at the price is too good to ignore. Henderson is my 'punt'. Two goals in preseason (along with a few towards the end of last season) gives me hope he might be 'Ramsey light' this season.
FOR: Rooney and Costa are obvious picks. Going with Austin as my cheapie, QPR have a decent start and Austin has goals in him.

All opinions/criticisms/upgrades welcome.

      Haz is a flat track bully with two 'easy' fixtures to start. People assume Fab will take a bit of time to readapt to the premier league, also he's playing a bit deeper. That being said, I've gone for neither--choosing Costa instead.

  Naughton. Walker injured and hasn't really played at all for months so will need a while to get back to full fitness. Good short term option (4-5 GWs imo).

  I have the same question. I badly want a 5.0 (4.5 if it's Naughton) consistent performer for the first handful of game weeks from Spurs. I keep debating Rose vs. Davies and don't feel at all confident I'll see either in the Starting XI.
