With so many of you seeking advice on their teams before August 16, we thought it would be prudent to run a daily community article to provide a dedicated focus for “Rate My Team” (RMT) requests.

Each day ahead of the new season, we’ll select one of the Fantasy Football Scout team and post up their own RMT request to open up discussion and encourage others to post their own. We’ll turn the comments over to you to provide a useful place for those seeking advice and highlight some of the key decisions under deliberation.

Please nudge those posting RMTs in other articles to visit this daily RMT article. Also, when posting requests, please remember to be courteous to those who take the time to help out. Equally, if you’re an experienced Fantasy manager with some views on initial line-ups, take time out to dip in and contribute – the Fantasy Football Scout team will be doing their upmost to offer their feedback as the discussion develops throughout the day.

A Chelsea defender is a must for Evs, should he downgrade Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas to Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen and get a 6m Chelsea defender or downgrade Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez to his team mate Aaron Ramsey to give himself 6.5m to spend.

Recently Tottenham’s Ben Davies had been ousted from his team, as again uncertainty with Danny Rose continues. Which is the best route into the Tottenham defence? Stevan Jovetic is a short term punt. Who should he replace him with should he fail to cement a place in Manchester City’s starting XI?

For everyone doing some last minute tinkering and wondering how teams will line-up and play, there's some great tactical analysis on http://www.zonalmarking.net from Michael Cox, a journalist who writes for the Guardian and a number of other footballing publications.

I was in his year at school and have been following his career ever since he started writing tactical analysis. His writing really helps with seeing how formations and roles are used within teams, something that i'm sure the FF community could get a lot out of.

      Luis hasn't had a fantastic pre-season so Mourinho will tinker
      VA probably will start but still uncertain
      Cameron won't start, I promise you that
      Better 4.0 options in Wisdom, Hutton, Moore, Duffy etc.

Rooney, Bojan, (currently crouch, I am hoping there is some truth to Hernandez to southampton as he is same price and will score goals)

I think a very strong defense, 3 potentially big scoring midfielders.
Rooney should do a job up top, Bojan? who knows. Who else is there as a proven striker though without tearing apart the rest of the team?

I rate would be much appreciated:
Bego (Krul)
Cahill, Jones, Ferdinand, Moore, Chester
Sterling, Ramsey, Eriksen, Siggy, Wanyama
Dzeko, Rooney, Costa

Better to have 3 strikers that will guarantee you 12+ goals if they stay fit!!

  Bego / Krul is too much for rotating keepers imo
  
  other than that, mata is probably a better option than sterling at the start
