With so many of you seeking advice on their teams before August 16, we thought it would be prudent to run a daily community article to provide a dedicated focus for “Rate My Team” (RMT) requests.

Each day ahead of the new season, we’ll select one of the Fantasy Football Scout team and post up their own RMT request to open up discussion and encourage others to post their own. We’ll turn the comments over to you to provide a useful place for those seeking advice and highlight some of the key decisions under deliberation.

Please nudge those posting RMTs in other articles to visit this daily RMT article. Also, when posting requests, please remember to be courteous to those who take the time to help out. Equally, if you’re an experienced Fantasy manager with some views on initial line-ups, take time out to dip in and contribute – the Fantasy Football Scout team will be doing their upmost to offer their feedback as the discussion develops throughout the day.

Kicking off today’s RMT discussion is Evs.

A Chelsea defender is a must for Evs, should he downgrade Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas to Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen and get a 6m Chelsea defender or downgrade Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez to his team mate Aaron Ramsey to give himself 6.5m to spend.

Recently Tottenham’s Ben Davies had been ousted from his team, as again uncertainty with Danny Rose continues. Which is the best route into the Tottenham defence? Stevan Jovetic is a short term punt. Who should he replace him with should he fail to cement a place in Manchester City’s starting XI?

      M. Hughes said he didnt even know what his start 11 regularly would be, which makes me think, if Hughes is going to be the new tinkerman, then those easy looking early stoke fixtures could turn out not as prosperous as they look like they might be for us FF Managers!

Should all be starters for the first gameweek or two (bar Luis). Not sure whether to play 3-4-3 and play Bojan instead of Luis for the first gameweek? Your comments would be loved.

  strikers looks fine to me
  you could prolly get bony rather than giroud for a little more piece of mind. dude is pretty consistent in my opinion. stud at the world cup as well -- albeit briefly...
  
  for your 4.0 goalie -- thats a tough one. not a lot of starters at that price. may think about downgrading a bit to get one. maybe debuchy or davies can be downgraded?

  I personally think palace are good enough that u don't need to rotate him
  Midfield is too good IMO downgrade Siggy or tadic to 4.5 and upgrade bojan

    I'd personally not take Sanchez right away because he hasn't found his rhythm and fitness entirely yet (have watched the couple of pre season games + community shield) I'd swap Sanchez -> Ramsey and then maybe go for Erikssen -> Mata...
