Sunday presents two further Premier League encounters with a variety of Fantasy heavy-hitters on show.

Events begin at Anfield, with Liverpool starting life without Luis Suarez with an encounter against a Southampton side ravaged by a summer exodus. It’s a fascinating scenario that’s set to feature an-all start case of assets, including Daniel Sturridge and Raheem Sterling – players burdened by big Fantasy ownership and expectation. The Saints, meanwhile, arrive on Merseyside looking to gel quickly after a flurry of new arrivals under the guidance of new boss, Ronald Koeman.

The day concludes at St James’ Park, as Newcastle host champions City. Manuel Pellegrini will likely field a much-changed side to the XI that suffered a Community Shield reverse against Arsenal. Even so, Fantasy investment in the City ranks has been tempered, with Yaya Toure remaining the top target, finding his way into 20% of Fantasy Premier League squads. Like Southampton, Newcastle present us with an array of new signings to assess, making Sunday a vital opportunity to scout talent.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Guys,

Why is the coverege so important? Why not have 3 Chelsea, 3 UTD and 3 City players if you think they are going to do well.

It's unlikely 3 players from a team will get a lot of points, especially if they are in attack/midfield. Or they need to sweep through 3 to 4-0.

This is always the argument, in a high scoring team you can get away with it but not so in a low scoring team

People so quick to judge - it's GW1! It's been 1 home win so far, just to paint the picture. The first 5 GW will give a solid picture, with Chelsea, Man Utd, Newcastle, Swansea, Arsenal, Spurs and Southampton with decent fixtures to judge hazard/fab, mata, rvp/rooney, walcott/cazorla/ozil, townsend/eric/lamela rose/davies, new signings, potential bargains like tadic, fonte, pelle, siggi, montero, de jong, riviere, cabella, janmaat, etc..
    It's a marathon - not a sprint.

I've played 2 seasons - top 30k and then just outside top 5k . Did some stupid mistakes in the beginning that threw me off, too many -8 and -12 to get the right players in before knowing, not thinking about injuries and just assuming based on 1-2 gameweeks.. Hope to break top 3k this year and keep climbing..
