Yes folks, it’s the day (night) we’ve all been waiting for. It’s here. Finally.

Fantasy Premier League (FPL) has opened its doors for season 2011/12.

After a few false starts last week, with the new look needing one or two final tweaks, everything is now in order and we can begin to pick our squads ahead of the big kick-off on the 13th of next month.

So waste no more time and head on over to the Premier League official site to begin picking your fifteen.

We’ll have a further round-up of some of the prices in a little while but in the meantime, put off your bedtime for just a while. FPL is back.

Oh, and in case you are all wondering: Aleksander Kolarov is priced at 6.5. Don’t all rush at once, now.

    So my first team where I tried to fit in players around the big guns. I ended up with 3 Newcastle players. Something went seriously wrong there.

      Agree actually.
      It makes it tougher and more thought has to go into it. A lot of players were far too cheap last season.

      Agreed! I think rotating players with form and fixtures will be much more important simply because it'll be difficult to supplement the big guns with value budget buys.
